This lofted studio features an open-concept living space with a lofted bed above the living room, in-wall air cooling unit, cozy fireplace, breakfast balcony, and kitchen.

Lakeland Village lodge units are near the main road — you may notice some ambient noise, a worthwhile trade-off for proximity to activities. The unit has a wall-mounted air conditioning unit for summer and additional fans for comfort. Loft areas may feel warmer, but cooling solutions are in place.

Convenient location for all of South Lake Tahoe. Condo is in need of some upgrades. Wall unit AC does not work and the loft did get very warm. We used the fans provided and it did cool off at night. The underground garage was very convenient and the beach access was the highlight.

The beach location is really nice with many dining and shopping locations nearby. In general, the complex looks attractive. This unit is badly in need of a deep carpet cleaning, followed by a flooring replacement in the next year. Staff was attentive to that complaint and requested pictures. With temps in the mid 80s during out stay, the unit was hot, and sleeping was difficult until it cooled down late at night. The small AC unit was set to max, but could not keep the unit cool enough.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The proximity to the beach was a plus, but the building itself is dated and showing signs of wear. One of the elevators was out of service throughout our stay, which made things difficult for guests. The unit was in fair condition—functional, but nothing special. The bedroom lacked windows and ventilation, making it uncomfortably hot at night. On the positive side, the property management team was responsive and courteous. Overall, the stay was okay, but we’re unlikely to return to this specific unit.
