The perfect family vacation home in highly desirable Lakeland Village. This 3-story townhome accommodates a family of 8 and is just a short walk to the lake and gorgeous beach. Access all of the village's unparalleled amenities including private beach & pier, swimming pools, hot tub, sauna, and fitness center. This home does not have air conditioning.

You enter on level 1 with 2 bedrooms: BR1 has a king bed, and BR2 has 1 queen bed & 1 full bed — ideal for giving kids their own space. The shared hall bath has been updated with stone tile and slate floors. The washer/dryer is also downstairs.

Head upstairs to the living area on level 2 with a large dining table for 6 plus bar seating for 4. The living room is centered around a large gas fireplace inlaid in a rock wall with a flat-screen HDTV mounted above. The sectional couch seats 5 comfortably. The dining and living area opens to the kitchen.

The immaculate kitchen is well-stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Enjoy cooking on the gas cooktop stove with granite counters, cherry cabinets, natural stone floor, and stainless steel appliances. There is a full bathroom on level 2 with dual sinks and walk-in shower.

Upstairs on level 3 is an open loft with 2 full beds — perfect for the kids!

A short stroll takes you straight to the lake. Beautifully landscaped with great amenities including private beach, pier, 2 pools, hot tub, sauna, a kid's play area, and first-come, first-served buoys.

Nice place and great location, but pools were underwhelming

The property itself was very nice, and it was a great space for our group. The location was great, and we loved the proximity to the beach. The biggest downsides were that the pools were advertised as heated, but they were still very cold and weren’t the nicest.

Rental was very cozy and within a few minutes walk to the beach. Only complaint is the cleaning crew overlooked the loft area. There were food crumbs on the carpet between the beds and there were dirty clothes under the beds. Owners offered to have someone come clean it the next day but we were checking out. No offer to reimburse any portion of the rental price to offset the ick of wondering if other things hadn't been properly cleaned. (i.e. bedding) The rest of the home was lovely and very cozy.

Centrally located

Lakeland Village is a great location, close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, everything you need. Only a couple miles from Heavenly Ski Resort. The unit was great. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. We had 6 adults. Myself, my husband and 4 college students. I like that the bedding was accommodating for all of us. It's a great place and the management co. was very helpful when we had questions.

Lake Tahoe Ski week

This unit is fine for a week of skiing, we arrived during major snow event and they plowed well. Bring slippers/socks as the bathroom floors are stone and cold. Also the doors/windows aren’t perfectly sealed so the furnace (loudly) runs constantly. The place is clean and has stocked kitchen for most cooking, typical of a rental. There was a minor roof leak during a rain/thaw.

Overall, this cabin was the perfect getaway spot, offering both comfort and convenience. We would absolutely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lakeland village is about a 5 min drive to CA lodge without traffic, which was perfect for us! We did see the Lakeland shuttle, but never utilized as it was so convenient to drive ourselves and park at the lodge. Also it is very close to restaurants and the Heavenly Village area. Recommend Base Camp Pizza (in HV) and Burger Me (not in HV, but closer to Lakeland). The unit itself was clean and worked well for 2 families with 2 kids each. We definitely took advantage of the washer and dryer in the unit for wet ski clothes and gloves and it was very nice that detergent was provided. I will say, the unit was not conveniently located to the pool/hot tub (at least not in the freezing cold)- you would have to drive through the property and park closer, which is doable- just an extra step.
