The Heavenly ski resort gondola is within 100 feet of Timber Lodge exit. Been staying here annually for past 20 years--always a great time. Fully furnished kitchen so you can eat in most meals. If not, plenty of good restaurants are available within walking distance of Timber Lodge. Casinos are a 2-block walk to Stateline, NV. Very nice pool and hot tubs. Excellent fitness center.
