IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
* No fires of any sort are allowed on the property or in the Tahoe basin.
* No more than 8 guests plus up to 5 additional children 5 years old and younger in the home, at any time.
* Per the local El Dorado County ordinance, noise must be kept respectful at all times, especially between the 10pm and 8am quiet period.
* The hot tub is only allowed to be used between 8am and 10pm, per the local county vacation rental ordinance
* 4 cars max - No exception. No street parking per county ordinance - could result in towing and major fines
* Please put trash in on-site bear box
* Surveillance: may have camera for monitoring the driveway and exterior of the home for safety and security purposes. No monitoring inside. May also have decibel monitoring devices (nothing decreeable) to ensure we're in compliance with the local noise ordinance. See NoiseAware's website for more information on these.
* Early checkins / late checkouts may be allowed with authorization.
* We do not have central air conditioning, but we did install window air conditioning units in the two upstairs bedrooms and there are extra fans in all of the bedrooms. Leaving the upstairs bedroom doors open with the A/C on in both rooms during the day helps cool the upper and middle level if needed. Nights are cool and many times A/C isn't needed (which is why most homes in Tahoe don't have A/C), but this helps keep the home comfortable during those hot summer days.

We expect all guests to be respectful, mature, and responsible. There is a zero tolerance policy abusive and negligent guests, loud groups, etc. If you want to squeeze 20 people into a house and party, this is not it. Please no celebratory parties like bachelor, bachelorette, etc. This is a family oriented, tasteful, and well appointed home - please treat it as your own.

Guests agree to comply with El Dorado County's Vacation Home Rental ordinances, our rental agreement (emailed separately), and failing to do so, or violation of home rules in the listing, may result in egregious penalties, forfeiture of security deposit, and even eviction.
