From the lounge, a staircase sweeps up to the first floor where the remaining two bedrooms are located. Featuring a king-size bed and twin beds, both are a good size and adorned with oak furniture and windows that flood the rooms with plenty of uplifting light. The children can also run free on the extensive lawn and spot rabbits and pheasants in the neighbouring fields.


Take a morning walk along the River Yeo or head to the market town of South Molton (2 miles) and browse the independent shops and market stalls. South Molton is also known as The Gateway to Exmoor and the whole family can enjoy the moors and hills on foot, bike, or horseback. Alternatively, head 13.5 miles to Barnstaple and enjoy a show at the 1930s-style cinema or hire bicycles and explore the Tarka Trail.
