The property looked nice but all of the toilets stopped working one day for a whole day. Our phone and TV didn’t function in our room and maintenance was unable to fix it and they did not offer us a new room so anytime we needed towels we had to go to the front desk and ask for them. Bar Louie is very slow and the outside bar is dirty. The pool is cold and they tried charging us for using a beach umbrella on our bill when we checked out even though we never did.

We went to the courtyard after the roaches keep coming out from everywhere at the holiday. Much better way cleaner and up to date. The only thing was the bed was uncomfortable, but I’ll take that over rodents any day

Every member of the staff was friendly, polite, helpful, and patient. Food and drinks were excellent. My kids REALLY loved the light-up dance floor in the hotel restaurant (also where the complimentary breakfast is served every morning). Kids also loved the pool and easy beach access. Outdoor showers were provided to wash sand off. Security Guards were stationed at the beach entrances and throughout the pool/bar area keeping an eye on things. The room and bathroom were clean and well stocked with essentials—coffee, tea, cups, toiletries, towels, pillows, etc. Housekeeping came and cleaned the floors/new towels/changed bed linens even without us requesting it—which was fabulous! My only complaint is that the mattresses were a bit thin for my taste (could feel the springs) and there was only 1 kind of pillow on the bed—the squishy ones that go flat when you lay your head on them. Having both soft and firm pillows available would have been perfect. A hot tub in the pool area would have been nice—but that’s mainly because we visited over Spring Break (March). The cold wind blowing in from the gulf made it difficult to swim in the pool once the sun started to set (my kids tried though, lol). Having a hot tub to warm up in occasionally while swimming would have been amazing! Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The minor complaints I mentioned above would not prevent me booking this hotel again in the future—planning to come in the summer next time!

Every single member of the staff we encountered was pleasant, friendly, polite, and helpful. The food and drinks served at the restaurant and separate outside bar were fabulous. My kids loved the pool and how close the beach was—there were also plenty of showers available to wash the sand off. Security Guards were stationed at the beach entrance and throughout the bar/pool area to ensure guest safety. Room/Bathroom was clean and had ample toiletries and towels provided. Coffee Maker Area was well stocked and had several cups—glass, plastic, and coffee cups. There was a refrigerator and microwave as well. My only complaint is that the mattresses were a bit thin (could feel the springs) and there was only 1 kind of pillow (the squishy ones that go flat and have no support). Also wish there had been a hot tub in the pool area… but neither of these things would stop me from staying here again in the future!
