Sun Ray #2A - Pet Friendly, 3min Walk to Beach

Sun Ray 2A is a great, 2nd floor floor 1BD/1BA condo centrally located on the gulf side of the island and close to everything. This recently remodeled condo on the second floor of the Rayo del Sol I 6-plex, has a Master Bedroom with a Queen size bed, one bunk bed in the extra wide hallway and a Full size sleeper sofa in the living room, which can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. The condo has A/C, two TVs, fast internet with WiFi, and a kitchen equipped with Stainless Steel appliances, granite counters and cooking needs such as dishes, utensils, microwave, coffeemaker, blender and toaster. The dining area sits 4 and for your convenience it has a washer/dryer combo in the unit. The location of the building is very convenient by having lots of amenities within walking distance.

This condo is ideal for families and families with children, romantic weekends, BFF girls vacations, fishing trips, business trips, winter Texans and Spring Breakers (Notes: Responsible person must be 25 years old or older and a staying guest during the rental period. For Spring Break and Easter week rentals there are additional requirements which includes additional refundable deposits – Minimum age requirement is 21 to rent during these two seasons – 2 pets max allowed through a pet fee).

There is one parking spot per unit (PARKING PERMIT MAY BE REQUIRED). NO POOL, but a very SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH.

Please note there is a hotel with a bar on the other side of the back fence, and it plays live music or a DJ.

The condo itself is modest and not particularly luxurious, but it had the basics we needed such as cookware, towels, and washer/dryer. It is also within walking distance to the beach.When we arrived, there was a noticeable humid smell, and the dehumidifier wasn’t working, which made the space feel a little damp. We thought about opening the windows, but with AC being on, we decided not to.There are rental units both below and above this unit as well as next door. The hotel behind this rental until does have live music, but are usually done by 10 or 11 PM. However, if it is the weekend, the guest at the hotel could be a bit loud past those hours and made going to sleep very difficult.The outside shower to rinse off after visiting the beach is in the back of the building on the right side. Found it after asking a neighbor. If you're looking for a simple place close to the beach and plan to spend most of your time outdoors, this condo works well as a home base. A few minor improvements could make it even better.The rental property manager did send multiple emails during our short stay (2 days) to check in as well as provided phone numbers to call if anything needed attention.

SPI stay was a delight for my birthday!

This place was conveniently located very very close to the beach. It’s literally less than a block away. The location was quiet, the condo was completely spacious & gorgeous as well. We watched movies, made food & went to the beach as much as possible. Lovely experience. The checkin was painless, the check out was also painless & the property manager was a sweetheart.
