The back trail to the ocean also connects to the very rare White CedarTrail preserve and Marconi site.

A 1/2 mi walk in the other direction gives you direct access to the Bicycle Rail Trail and General Store/ Post Office. Avoid Rte 6 traffic by taking Ocean View Drive into town, harbor, or glacier ponds for a swim or kayaking. Cottage is only 1/2 hr drive to Provincetown for nightlife and terrific whale watching.
