Amazing family friendly hidden gem!

This adorable place is one of the BEST family friendly hotels and extremely clean, I’ve ever stayed at! The studio rooms have everything you need including a fireplace and even pocket doors to separate the bedroom from the living area with a full sized pull out couch! Daily ice cream socials, all kinds of local snacks, active for the kids, the beach right there with tons of shells and critters, an awesome pool/hot tub gym, sauna…minutes from the Skipper and all shops, restaurants, mini golf, water parks..I could go on and on! The staff is super friendly and on point! Great place to stay with kiddos! We LoVED it!

Beautiful hotel by the beach! You can see the sea from the pool. The room is nice, it looks like it was recently renovated. We stayed from 04/20 to 04/21/2025.I am taking a star off because the maid was EXTREMELY RUDE! I thought that the check out time was at 11:00AM, so we stayed in the pool until 10:30AM. On the way back to the room the maid asked me if we were from room #50 and when I confirmed she made a rude comment saying that the check out time was at 10:00AM. I apologized and told her that we were going to leave soon. When we were leaving she started to argue with my husband, once again saying that we were supposed to leave by 10AM and that was not her job to put a VCR tape(we got the tape the night before to watch with the kids) back in the gym. My husband once again said that he did know about the check out time and offered her to pay for the extra hour that we stayed in the room. I informed the hotel manager about the incident, She apologized, told me that was not the maid’s job to tell us the check out time or act rude with us! The manager was super nice.

The location is nice as it's right next to the beach. Check-in person was super friendly. The rooms are decent, however, The actual cleanliness and upkeep can be greatly improved. The showerhead is broken with some of the silicone from the jets no longer attached. Which makes the shower pretty useless. I informed the front desk she wrote something down and I haven't heard anything yet after a day of letting them know. The walls are really thin and you can hear conversations as well as "other things" from a couple rooms over. The bedding is pretty gross as there is some crusty "crud" on the spare blankets which can only be some sort of bodily fluid. I don't want to know which bodily fluid that it is. I also informed the front desk again wrote it down but nothing has happened yet. The Pool and "hot tub" are decent as it overlooks the water. The hot tub barely had any jets when operating. This place is also apparently a time share, I had some sketchy dude approach me trying to sell me. Honestly for how outdated this place is it's not really worth the time to listen to his sales pitch. This place was fine for a weekend but I definitely wouldn't want to spend a whole week here.
