Designed by Peter Huf, The Bridge House is a unique lakeside hideaway built in 2021, offering four bedrooms and expansive living areas. Set across eight acres of woodland, it's perfect for families and friends seeking a special escape. Floor-to-ceiling glazing, generous terraces, and open-plan interiors create the perfect social hub. Eco-features include solar power, underfloor heating, and triple glazing. Outdoors, enjoy private woodland walks and relaxing evenings by the water.

The space
The house has been designed with togetherness and relaxation in mind. From the moment you step through the vibrant red front door, you're welcomed into an expansive, light-filled reception where soaring glass walls bring the surrounding woodland and lake into every moment of your stay.
The ground floor flows seamlessly between open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas, making it easy to gather as a group. The bespoke kitchen is fully equipped for cooking feasts, whether you're preparing a casual breakfast or a celebratory dinner. An eight-seater dining table invites long, sociable meals, while multiple lounge areas provide space for everyone to relax, including a snug with a sofa bed, available for additional guests on request.
Glass walkways connect the wings of the house, creating a sense of adventure as you move between spaces. The master suite is a private haven, with a super-king-size bed a free-standing bath and dual walk-in showers overlooking the lake. Two additional king-size bedrooms and another super-king-size bedroom (can be twin beds on request), all with en-suites and terrace access, ensuring comfort and privacy for everyone.
A separate annexe provides extra flexibility with a gym and an extra bathroom. Outside, a wraparound balcony offers endless places for alfresco dining, stargazing or simply soaking up the surroundings. The house bridges a private lake and is encircled by eight acres of woodland, one island landscaped as a tranquil Japanese-style garden. A short walk away from the house, a private slipway leads directly to the River Hamble, inviting paddleboarding, kayaking or leisurely boat trips together.Bedroom configurations

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 70 days before the date of travel.
Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £1,000 to their stay.
