The house was just what we needed as far as location goes. There was plenty of supply in the kitchen and bathroom. I appreciated being able to sit on the deck, reading a book and enjoying the weather. The house was very clean.

Pleasant Surprise in Southbury

The photos on the VRBO website of the inside of this home don't do it justice. Its current furnishings and room arrangements are actually much nicer. We enjoyed our stay. The home was very welcoming, immaculate and spacious with a beautifully-appointed kitchen, large eating area in the kitchen, a laundry and living/dining room combo. There's a small downstairs bathroom and 2 upstairs bedrooms. The hostess was easy to contact and responsive. She provided great local info too.

Beautiful home, but not exactly what we were expecting

We enjoyed our one night stay here. The yard is nice and theres a beautiful creek running behind the house. We were a little caught off guard when the host's check-in instructions told us that her and her husband also live in the building in an in-law sweet. Not what we were expected based on the information in the listing. While we never saw the host, it didnt feel like quite the level of privacy we were hoping to get for the price.
