Tucked away in a private setting and surrounded by two acres of Maine forest, this charming, two-story vacation rental is the perfect home-away-from-home for your next getaway to Southport Island. Bright, pristine, and newly-built, this four-bedroom home features vaulted ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and more than a few nods to the great state of Maine with its decor and artwork. The open floor plan includes a well-equipped, island kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large dining table with seating for eight, and a cozy living area with a Netflix-ready flatscreen TV. Outside, enjoy the sights and sounds of the woods from the furnished deck where you can socialize or fire up the grill and dine in the open air. And when it's time to call it a night, you'll find four comfortable bedrooms here including one king suite, two rooms with queen-size beds, and a kids' room with two twin bunks.

This home is within walking distance of Cozy Harbor and only a mile from Hendricks Head Lighthouse and the adjacent beach area offering terrific views and opportunities to swim in the cool waters and catch tiny crabs in the seaweed. Just a few miles northeast, check out bustling Boothbay Harbor with its many attractions and water activities. Grab a bite to eat from Robinson's Wharf offering terrific seafood, an oyster bar, and wonderful views of the cove. Fantastic property for a family stay

This property was wonderful! Great location for exploring Southport Island and nearby Boothbay Harbor. Well appointed, comfortable, felt immediately at home. The kids loved the bunk room and the ping-pong table in the basement. Comfy beds and really nice laundry machines. We would definitely stay here again!

The home layout was great, kids had enough room to be in different places and not on top of each other. The property was good for the boys to go exploring/ fishing and being just a short drive from Boothbay the location was perfect. While in the area we also visited Damariscotta and New Harbor and they never disappoint.

The property was amazing. The house was big & open. Plenty of space for us. The beds were very comfortable. The house was clean, and our only suggestion would be to make sure the vent in the 1/2 bath is cleaned, and the base boards in the full baths be replaced. They’re very rusty. Other than that it was prestine. It was perfectly located for our trip! Thank you!

The house was perfect and had everything we needed, including a lobster pot. The first floor master bedroom is very spacious and the other 3 bedrooms were more than enough to accommodate everyone in our group.
