Room was fine but in hdcp suite the tv is far from the bed. Most suites hv 2 tvs? Air/heat system had no instructions and would never shut off. Staff very good.

We came down at 8am and almost all the food was gone. no eggs or meat waffles almost none and low on syrup. watched other guest coming down . cereal was their option . There appeared to be a lot of workers eating early. I counted 9-10 in breakfast area. Just believe that quest should have access first. Overall very helpful staff at desk . would stay again Thank you

Very poor service. Hotel ignored room requests. Disregarded housekeeping request. Tub did not drain. Hotel Phone started flashing red in the middle of the night, which staff knew might happen but didn’t mention or try to prevent. When rises the issues, was told there was nothing they could do for me. Choose another hotel. Lots of choices in Southport. Fairfield. Holiday inn. Hampton. River hotel. Inn at Southport. Comfort inn.

Clean Everything. From entering bldg all the way to our room Everything was clean and fredh. Our room was beyond expectations. Beds were absolutely beyond comfortable. Exceptional accommodations for a great price.

The room was clean but the fixtures were old, the bathroom door cracked at the bottom. The front desk was mostly unmanned. I never saw one person working the breakfast area. There was zero thought given to people who have food allergies (nothing was marked, no alternatives, no staff to check ingredients). Finally, the beds need to be replaced as the springs could be felt on both mattresses. A bit disappointing for a Wingate and the price point.
