Private, newly renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath guesthouse in Southwest Harbor, Maine, overlooking Norwood Cove. With a full kitchen, AC, WiFi, and washer/dryer, this private 2nd floor flat is the perfect base for exploring Acadia National Park and nearby Echo Lake. The two bedrooms are set up with a king bed and 2 twins, which can also be arranged into a king-sized bed to accomodate a 2nd couple. Roku TV in the living room and primary bedroom. The rental is in an independent structure with its own private entrance. An art studio and garage occupies the first floor. 

Walk 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor, where you can enjoy restaurants, art galleries, shops, a library, walk-in gym, visitor center, and much more.  Just over one mile to Echo Lake  for swimming and hiking, and 2.5 miles to Long Pond.  The free Acadia National Park shuttle runs by the road in front of the rental. You may rent bikes in Southwest Harbor, join a kayak excursion across the street, walk to the Causeway trail, or simply relax with a waterfront view. There is a grocery store ½ mile away and a coffee shop across the street. 

Sleeps 4. Primary rent must be at least 28 years old. Not appropriate for kids under 9. A well-lit staircase leads up to the private 2nd story rental.  Private parking for 1 car. Peaceful, scenic, and close to everything—your ideal MDI getaway!

Gather used towels

This property was perfect for our stay on Mount Desert Island. We loved the view. The property was well maintained and beautiful. We love staying on the quieter side of the island, and this location was perfect. We got to enjoy going to Acadia and stopping in Bar Harbor while being able to come back to a quiet area with a beautiful view to relax. Camille let us know everything we needed for check in and check out. The property had everything we needed.

Beautiful little spot with a relaxing scenic vibe. Property was easliy accessible and in the middle of the whole Acadia experience. We highly recommend considering this property for anyone spending time in the National Park, Bar Harbor and/or any other of the Mount Desert Island area.

Our stay was outstanding. There were 2 couples so it was the perfect size. Camille and Marc were freindly and accommodating. The views were amazing and the apartment was private and cozy. The small downtown area in Southwest Harbor was quaint and about 20 minutes to Bar Harbor so away from the crowds but close enough to pop in. Highly recommended!

truly a beautiful apartment with amazing views. well appointed kitchen with everything you need for making meals at home. also a quick walk to a great coffee shop and close to downtown southwest harbor. overall a lovely stay.
