Beautiful campsite

The property itself is beautiful and overall we enjoyed our time here. The campsites are tucked neatly into the trees. There’s a water spout, a small propane cooktop, firewood, a grill, dishes and a cooler. The tent was cozy and comfortable. The hvac struggled to keep up on the hottest days but it cooled down at night. There’s a shower and bathroom close by as well and it was clean. We were originally a little confused about the listing because the description basically talked about bringing your own tent to camp on a deck but the pics all showed the tent already being in place with beds. It would have been helpful to have the description match the pictures w/ accurate listing of what was available. Our visit was unfortunately interrupted by a dog from one of the homes outside of the campsite. The dog jumped on me and scratched me repeatedly while trying to open the gate, followed us to the campsite and was a repeated issue throughout our stay. The host tried her best to help, but it was ultimately up to us to manage the dog. We have kids and it was a large German shepherd, so it was a stressor throughout our visit and we spent hours of what would have been family time dealing with it. The 2nd night was the worst because it was aggressively trying to get into our tent. The host also said they would credit us in some way after our experience, and that never happened. This place is pretty great otherwise. If they get the dog situation figured out, we’d love to try it again.
