Not worth it

I arrived about 30 minutes prior to the check-in time so I was prepared for them not having the room ready, but I thought I would just check. I was told I was in luck because the room was ready and they could start the check-in process but they wouldn’t give me a key until 4pm. So I checked-in and then was made to sit in the lobby until 4pm. Seemed a little silly since they told me my room was ready The room had also been prepaid by my company. They did take a card to “charge it for $1” - assuming for incidentals. Of course they charged my card for the room rate. When I asked about it the front desk couldn’t help me but said a manager would look into it. So right now I am waiting to get the money refunded. Also this is the only extended stay hotel that I have used that doesn’t have basic kitchen utensils. You can rent them but nothing is provided. It seems to be their policy but I find that a little weird and a bit of a money grab. While the room was clean and the room rate was good the hassles that I had to deal with make it easy to say I wouldn’t use the ECHO brand hotel again

One restless night!!!

The room was okay, however, the phone in the room was not connected to the wall and did not work; I could turn the TV on, but only got a black screen. Also around 10:30 at night, there was a lot of noise coming from the room above us. Our room was a the end of the hall. The noise went on most of the night. It sounded like someone was running around up there and jumping off something. Then I heard the sound of a dog barking (a large dog). Furniture was being dragged across the floor. This went on for hours, which interfered with our sleep. I called the front desk twice to complain and was told they would contact the occupants and take care of it. The noise continued. I complained the next morning on checkout....asking for a discount on my stay, Once I informed the person at checkout what happened, she wanted to know if I complained. Once i mentioned that there was also a dog barking, she knew exactly what the problem was. She said that a lady lives up there and was out of town...she had someone to come in and exercise her dog while she was away, and she acknowledged that it was a big dog. I was told that I would have to ask for discount with the third party from which i booked my room.

Pros: The property was clean and updated. The area was a great location with lots of food and shopping. Cons: A fight in the hallway involving a group of people with lots of screaming and shoving was brushed off as nothing by the staff and made it so I didn't feel safe to leave my room for the remainder of the evening. I was also expected to check out and return the hair dryer each day of my visit. Seems silly I couldn't just keep it in my room for the couple days I was there.

After a long drive and an early morning arrival at the hotel I come to find out that they gave my room away canceled my two night reservation. Then refused to refund me or give me a room. Expedia was no help in resolving the issue. I suggest staying elsewhere and looking into an alternative service to book your rooms.
