Cozy cottage located at our winery at the base of Old Rag and Shenandoah Park.

Located at the Old Rag Mountain hike and Shenandoah National Park our circa 1794 cottage is the perfect home base to enjoy nearby hikes, wineries, and breweries.

The Cottage is the original farmhouse built in 1794 when the farm was founded .We are located on the Hughes river ( native trout fishing) at the foot of Old Rag Mountain only two minutes from the parking lot @ Old Rag. Access to White Oak Canyon and Shenandoah National Park are only minutes away. We are also a working vineyard and winery with our tasting room open Friday thru Sundays and by appointment.

The area was lovely and Jimm was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. He also made it very easy to get into our cottage. Communication was top notch!

This place provided exactly what we needed in order to hike the 9 mile loop trail at Old Rag Mountain. Only a few miles down the road. Jimm was an excellent host and provided a lot of good information for the area. We loved being by the creek!

Perfect spot to hike Old Rag

What a great place to stay in Sperryville area. 5 minutes away from Old Rag parking lot; 11 minutes away from Sperryville. Amazing view of Old Rage from the front porch. Very cozy interior. We will be back.
