Slatine is situated on the east part of Island Ciovo which is an island connected by bridge with mainland. So, basically it is island and mainland at the same time. You can go normally, without any payment, to mainland Trogir or to any other town with your car through bridge which is open 24 hours a day. From Slatine you can go to Trogir, beside by car, by bus or even by boat.
There is boat connection from Slatine to Split city center and back and from Slatine to Trogir. Boat runs about 10 times a day during the summer season and it is a very pleasant boat drive.
Slatine is 12 km far from Trogir. Trogir and Split are well known cultural and tourist cities with numerous sights to see and events to visit. Slatine is famous for its pebble beaches, untouched nature and clean sea.
