definitely use their transport service from the airport as it would be hard to find if someone didnt know the property. we enjoyed it. only note was breakfast was included but the person staffing the breakfast seemed unhappy that we arrived towards the end (but well within) the appointed breakfast time. great location to wander around Split.

We had a wonderful unit that blended old with new, was spacious and very clean. It was up a small, quaint road off the main road and no traffic noise. Delightful setting and the restaurant attached was excellent. It was a lovely experience yet minutes away from the central core. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place. Very clean. Has a small kitchen. Walking distance to the center with all the famous spots and restaurants. Delicious breakfast. The staff communicates via text messages: response time is quick. They explained where to get the keys, sent the map and names of streets with free parking. If you are looking for a place not far from the palace, this is definitely it! I would stay here again!

Value for money

This room was good value for money as options in Split are expensive. It is walking distance to the coach station and seafront/promenade area. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is at a cafe downstairs with good and plentiful options. The cooked to order ham & cheese omelette was the best choice. However it is above a bar and that meant it was very loud into the early hours. Especially as the windows didn’t fully close, which wasn’t a problem for the heat but it was due to the noise. No front desk but the owner is very responsive on WhatsApp.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were cute and well appointed. The air conditioning worked very well. Checking in and out was incredibly easy as well. The location is great, right outside the Old Town and walkable to the ferry and bus stations if you’re headed elsewhere.

Everything was perfect, except it’s cash only and the air conditioning couldn’t beat the heat wave completely! It worked okay, but I guess I’m used to sleep in a very cold room. It’s a good quality price room and you even get free breakfast!

Lovely stay

Beautiful accomodation, spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast, the lady that serves the breakfast is such a character, friendly, hospitable and really made our stay. The man who who does breakfast also lovely. The communication with accommodation is what let's the place down, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. They were slow or didn't respond. Otherwise great stay.

Very nice, modern, well-appointed room, on a nice little street, walkable to everything - the Rive, Old Town, Diocletian’s Palace, restaurants, and shopping at the outdoor market. Staff was wonderful.

This property is what we thought Europe would be about. Above a cafe/restaurant, and down a narrow street, everything is walkable and just has that vibe. We loved it.

Too much money for a poor service

I had to wait in the street for 14 minutes until somebody apears, even I had sent a message that I was arriving. Fortunately it was not raining and I was not desperate for a restroom. There's no support/help for anything that you eventually need, because there's no reception. Even to leave the luggage for few hours the situation is confusing. The breakfast is not good. It's for backpackers or extremely budget travellers. But the price is not for them. Good points: there's a fridge and the shower is good.

Good location, only 5 mins walk to city centre. Good value for money! The host is very friendly and helpful, she recommended places to go, restaurant to dine in and ensure we had a wonderful stay. They also provide us a free parking space! Nothing to complain :)

Villa Desideria is situated close to the ferry port, and to all the locations that tourists wish to visit. Natalia offers a personalised service, where nothing is too much trouble: whether it be escorting guests to their car, arranging tickets, offering advice on short cuts to places of interest and generally checking with guests as to whether their needs are being met. The rooms are clean and include a fridge, a kettle (with coffee and tea bags (of a variety of teas), a safe, and a variety of tv/cable channels, including netflix. Guest have an undercover secluded small terrace which is a perfect place to enjoy a coffee. Many thanks Natalia for a great stay.
