You get what you pay for

Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! The floors in our room were absolutely disgusting, like they hadn't been cleaned in months. We had to wear socks the entire time because you could feel the dirt on the floor with your bare feet. There was long black hairs on the pillows, pretty sure there is mold growing in the bathroom above the shower, shower head rusted and leaking, and the shower curtain was filthy and way past in need of changing. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I guess the only positive thing I could say about this place is that it has hot water and the free ice is a plus.

I would first like to say I rarely do reviews but felt the need with this stay. I will note, the hotel clerk was very nice. There was an overwhelming smell of Indian Food in the office, unfortunately, my room was just over the office so I smelled it during my stay, if that had been the worst of it, this review would not be happening. The rooms are dated, bed spread (which I always remove from the bed) had dirty spots on the underside. The light mounted in the wall next to the bed had the cord cut so there was no electricity to turn it on. The towels were very thin and shoved into the silver racks that hold linens, I also question the cleanliness of the towels. Breakfast was a joke, stale cereal with a gallon of Milk, there was a waffle machine but nothing else, no bread for toast, no muffins, nothing, stale cereal and waffles. Coffee had powered creamer. I do not consider myself high maintenance when it comes to hotels, but I could not wait to leave that place in the morning. The stairs, handrails and walkways were filthy. I believe this place also does weekly rentals because there were people hanging out in the parking lot that didn't look like they were short timers. I suggest you stay elsewhere when visiting Springerville.

This is a five star quality economy hotel. Stone’s throw from XA bar + restaurant and just down the road from Avery’s (the Bomb for BBQ + pizza + country dancing on Fridays).
