Great location right off Route 91. Clean, great indoor pool, good service, they quickly responded to our request for an extra blanket. Enjoyed the museum and Dr. Suess park in Springfield

Was not clear about policies while booking, and overall condition of the room was scrappy, as in the bathroom door wouldn’t lock, the shower head was spraying water everywhere and there was no mention of a 150 dollar deposit

Underwhelming

The person checking us in refused to tell my wife the room number after I gave my wife the room keys right in front of the check-in person and went out to the car to grab more things. The pool area was looking a bit shoddy. One of the waffle-makers at the continental breakfast needed to be cleaned. The beds each only had three pillows instead of the usual 4 per bed.

Pre-op woes

Pet friendly hotel is a plus, close to Baystate Medical Center as well which was the primary reason for the trip - early procedure and we live over an hour away. I had to take two showers, the night before and the morning. I kept losing water pressure, I was able to fix during the nighttime, the morniblng was a pitiful stream I had to make due to at 4:30am. If the shower hadnt been so relevant for me this trip I may have left a better review.

The doors are paper thin so you hear everything in the corridor. Our tv did not work during our stay but the hotel was kind to discount us at checkout. There is no housekeeping service during the stay. It’s a nice property but the things above took away from the experience unfortunately.

Staff was friendly. The pool was kind of a mess. The paint was peeling and chipped in a lot of areas. The beds were very comfy. The ac worked great in the room but there was mold in the shower. It took about 10 mins for hot water to come out too. I almost thought there wasn't any. Breakfast had a great selection and over all pretty clean.

I called Expedia and asked if there is a security deposit, they said no. Then we were told at the site that there is a security deposit. We called ahead and asked if the pool was open. They said, “yes, and it is heated”. The pool was cold. The bed had what looked like crumbs in it when we opened the covers. The bathroom was dirty, like they didn’t wipe it down for years. Just seemed run down and dirty. The bed was so uncomfortable. I could hear the people next door all night. Didn’t get any sleep. The breakfast was as good as you can expect. Staff were ok.
