Not ideal, but warm.

First room offered had damaged door lock, upper lock was broken. Second room offered the floor had not been cleaned, bags and trash all over the floor and shoved under the beds. Bathtub was the only clean item, it was very slick. I wiped this whole room down with sani-wipes and used gloves to clean the floor. Loud environment, banging on walls and yelling in the hallway. I was stuck in a snow storm and a first responder - so warm was the only option. Front desk staff had a bit of attitude when I asked for a room that would lock. I was followed around the parking lot twice by a male asking to stay with me. The main entry door to the hallway of rooms would not secure, and was propped open by staff. I probably won't do this again, but it was fine for being stuck and being close to areas I needed.

Well, the price was good...

Unfortunately this wasn't that great of a stay, but the price was right. When we first checked in, there was about 4 squares of toilet paper left and no spare roll anywhere in the room. We were unable to reach anyone at the front desk via the phone, but didn't feel like leaving the room as thankfully we weren't needing it. When I put the lid down however, there were what appeared to be a few pubic hairs. The heater ran ok for a few minutes and then it started screaming like a banshee. Unfortunately I don't think we will be going back.

I want a refund for this stay. We didn't even stay there, we found somewhere else to stay when we saw the room we had at Lamplighter. One bed was broken, multiple light bulbs were burnt out, the shower curtain rod was bent in half, the linnens had stains, the room was dirty and there was clear water damage on one of the walls. I have pics of everything. Please let me know how i go about receiving a refund for this reservation.

Online, they made this property look like a gem. Once we got there, the foundation was caving in at certain parts, the furniture was old and filthy, and the shower was in poor condition and not high enough to accommodate tall people (I’m almost 5’9 for reference. The service side was a little lacking as well. Certain people were nice, but overall, I would NOT recommend this facility! We will never return to this place.

The place is a complete dump. Do NOT waste money there. My son and I were there less than two hours and we checked out and went to Comfort Inn South. Best decision I could have made!

That place needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. I mentioned that the room did not have a phone; the lady said some one broke the outlet so they took the phone out. A free continental breakfast was available from 7 to 9 AM; at 8:05 I went to get toast and coffee and there was no bread. I asked for bread and she said "I do not have any more and cannot get any more and how can I give you what I do not have" It is quite a shame to see the destruction of a place that we found great in 2002.

I would have slept in my car over this please. Immediately i smelled mold, my room was apparently not ment to be rented out see pictures. Bed old and out dated, floor trim falling off, tv missing, put into another room that i was afraid to take my shoes off in.

Had to change rooms twice. Door handle didnt work, heater didnt work on first room. Second room had not been cleaned. Third room had a mouse living in it, the window curtain did not close so lights blinded us all night long and the shower did not work. We checked out early. Very dissatisfied. For the price, we did not expect a 5 star hotel, but we did expect to have the basics.
