The guy at the counter seemed kind of strange and not very friendly. The breakfast was horrible, not even worth mentioning that they had one the blankets and the sheets were old and felt dirty.

A very good price range and value for being close to public access beaches without spending a fortune on a beachfront hotel. I'm familiar with St Augustine so I know how to get to all the restaurants and attractions in this area and this hotel provides a good value if you don't mind that it is not beachfront. There is excellent public beach access just down the road.
