The room design was terrible! A sliding door to the toilet/shower area that didn't fit tightly, left a gap of 2 inches, so no privacy. The sink was in the main room near the bed, disturbing anyone trying to sleep. The mini-fridge had no freezer section. The exit door in the stairwell didn't close.

The a /c unit did not work correctly. The toilet kept running until you had to lift the handle each time. The falucets on the sink. We're wonky. It was advertised as being newly open. But all they did was take an old hotel and put lipstick on a pig.

The desk person was rude. The room wasn’t well cleaned. There was food/drinks in the fridge from a month ago (dated), the tub had to be rinsed out because of the dirt, a towel was stained, etc.

The room was clean. You can see it was renovated about 4 years ago. The hall unfortunately smelled of smoke. I think it was the carpet. The room didn't smell of smoke, so it was fine. good enough for a quick overnight stay on my travels. It was close enough to Saint Augustine 10min drive. Right off I-95. The roads are a bit strange with how they wrap around and turn - so pay attention. I would probably stay again.

Door (room) mechanism only worked half the time. Hotel totally booked and only 1 elevator was in service all weekend. Totally unacceptable!! No instructions in room explaining how to work the 2 remotes to the tv. No usb charging ports for electronics. No Sunday maid service we had no clean towels Sunday night.
