Old school charm - Walk to downtown

If you want cookie-cutter, stay somewhere else. If you are looking for something unique with old school Florida charm, STAY HERE..! Love the location overlooking the water, and the ability to walk to the square downtown. Their cozy little bar and the restaurant overlooking the street / water were both great. Our booking happen to include two free drinks at the bar and a complimentary breakfast for two (unsure if all stays include this). Small private parking lot is about a 1 minute walk. Our stay was in late January, and to our surprise, all the Christmas lights were still up (St Augustine is famous for their Christmas lights downtown). Our first floor room was in the front / main building (Room #3). It had its own private access to the back alley, providing quick access to the many cool little shops and eateries. Looking forward to our next stay at the Casablanca!

Very convenient location. Staff was very nice. Room was a bit run down. Shower was practically impossible to find a balance of warm water. Either scold you or absolutely freezing also was VERY tiny for a 6'4 guy. A bit weird having to walk through the full dining room with all of your luggage to front desk and room. Parking is a block away as well. Overall ok but not at the top of our list to stayvat again in St. Augustine. Room was a good value with drink vouchers and breakfast.

This hotel was very cute and had all the character you’d expect from its age. You have to get past the normal hotel amenities like room refrigerator, elevator, or hairdryer etc to really appreciate it. The staff was over the top nice about everything. Our dog Dexter loved it …except for all the steps. Would stay again!!

Our stay at Casablanca Inn on the Bay was wonderful. Great location, fabulous martinis and yummy breakfast was included as well as parking. The room was clean, spacious and a great find for us. We recommend this Inn and plan to return soon.

We stayed here for one night. It was a last minute stop on our way to south Florida. So glad we chose this hotel! It’s in a great location! So convenient to walk everywhere. The bay view is gorgeous! We especially liked that our stay included one martini each. The martinis were great and they give you a lot, really 2 glass fulls (they leave the shaker at the table). Our stay also included a fresh, hot made to order breakfast complete with oj and coffee. We were in room 30. King bed, beautiful bathroom and plenty of space. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Great stay. Would recommend and also stay here again.

Loved the location and how close it is to everything. First time we stayed was the farden room and loved it henxe which is why we went back. Thos experience not so much Wasnt happy with some of the staff. We felt like we were bothering the staff when we went to get our martinis. Was told to go to the hall by check in and wait for our drinks. Paid $460 to stay overnight and felt that was extremely rude. No reason to make your customers feel that way.

We stayed here 10 years ago and decided to go back. We love the location and martini bar!!! The staff is very nice and restaurant is good. They rooms are very dated and in need of upgrades. They could also use a deep cleaning. We stayed in the secret garden family suite. The room was good size. However the bed is probably 20 years old and not comfortable along with the other furnishings . Great place to stay based on location but very dated. We have stayed here twice in ten years, but will not stay there again in the future. Highly recommend the Martini Bar there!
