Every morning they were working right below our balcony with a huge generator and we were unable to enjoy our coffee on the balcony. I booked an ocean view room and they gave us a PARTIAL view of the ocean. There were so many kids making noise in the grassy courtyard we were unable to enjoy the ocean air with our sliders open. The bathroom shower needed attention as there aren't any towel bars and the shower caddy was coming off of the wall. Very noisy hotel and NOT worth the price.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, on the beach, minutes away from downtown St Augustine. Great facilities including a large pool. You have everything you need on site. However, there are also many restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Staff was very friendly. The biggest downside, as most guest have stated, is the valet parking. The $40 nightly fee is a bit much as well as the hassle of having to wait for someone to bring your car. In addition, you feel obligated to tip, and if you leave the property several times a day it can add up.

This property is pet friendly and seems to allow pets everywhere inside the hotel - however your pet is not allowed on the pool deck which will exclude you (with your pet) from lounging on the pool deck, having cocktails in this area, and from the restaurant there / happy hour by the pool. I have a five pound dog who was sitting on my lap on a lounge chair and was told by the towel guy I had to leave the pool deck. There is a sign but I didn't see it since I came in from the beach. So be advised you and your dog will have to sit outside the pool deck while your kids are in the pool.

Our bathroom had a significant amount of mold. Front desk staff were rude teenagers that acted annoyed that my checking in interrupted their conversation. The mandatory valet was the worst valet I’ve ever dealt with. I choose this location specifically to avoid these type of issues that you’d expect at a Motel 6. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Air conditioning in rooms goes off and on and are extremely loud. Walls between rooms are thin and you can hear other guests. Rooms seemed like they need an upgrade. Drinks were overpriced and bartenders by the pool weren’t very friendly.
