Walk To The Beach

Perfect get-a-way for 2... literally a 1 minute walk to the beach with no road to cross... Miles of beach in both directions for long, relaxing walks... pet friendly duplex with everything we needed (including a Keurig machine!)... a 5 minute walk to a couple of restaurants (Mango Mango's & Beachcomber's both had a great vibe)... this was our 2nd stay at this duplex and we will be back again next year...

Awesome in St. Augustine!!

What a beautiful property on beautiful St. Augustine beach!! Easy walk to the beach, to several restaurants, and to morning coffee!! Only 15 minutes to historic downtown St. Augustine and all that it has to offer. Owners were so kind and left such easy instructions and lots of coupons and information about things to do. We had the best time!!

Adorable beach house

Visited St Augustine with my husband, and this beach house was perfect! It had all of the amenities we needed and was a short walk to the beach. There were lots of places to eat within walking distance and the grocery store was super close. The owners were amazing and created such a beautiful, romantic vacation spot. I highly recommend this beach house for your vacation.

Wonderful Location

Half a block from the beach! Great local places to eat are within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood with friendly people. We took our dog and it was a very dog friendly area! Nice place. We would love to return.

Great pet friendly cottage

My dog and I had a great time at Lauren’s cottage. We stayed for a month. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook a meal, a dedicated workstation and a large patio. Washer and dryer available in the back. Three minutes walk to an amazing beach. We cannot wait to come back. Amazing host, very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful beach cottage

My husband and I loved our stay at Rich's place in St. Augustine Beach. Just a short stroll through the dunes and we were on this beautiful and endless beach, where the water is cool, the waves are great, and the people-watching is spectacular! We spent a full 2 weeks and couldn't have been more comfortable in this perfect-size bungalow with great amenities. Rich and his wife were friendly and accessible and we often stopped to talk when out strolling to the beach or around the neighborhood. The neighborhood is fantastic with shopping and great restaurants within walking distance. Shout outs to the Beachcomber for beachside dining, Sunset Grille for incredible meals, A1A Beachside Diner for tasty brunches, and Island Donuts for the most delicious doughnuts. And then you have the city of St. Augustine close by that offers even more of everything! I can't wait to return to this little gem of a house and dig my toes into the sand once again. Thank you, Rich, for offering such a wonderful beach getaway cottage.

St. Augustine 30th Anniversary Celebration

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location was perfect. Our dog, Chloe, had the best time going to the beach. The cottage was very well appointed with toiletries and kitchen accessories. We loved having access to the pool and we enjoyed an afternoon of putt-putt. We would love to stay here again.

Wonderful Beach Cottage

This property is absolutely charming, and it’s a great space in a quiet neighborhood. My only feedback to the owner is to think about updating their couch and bed coverings. I would also recommend that the towels that are provide are washed the day before your guests arrivalto avoid having musty smelling towels.

5-stars all around! The cutest accommodation, an unbeatable location just steps to the beach & restaurants, clean, spacious and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great location and exactly as described

This was a perfect location for us, steps from the beach walkway and on a quiet dead end street. All the necessary supplies are there (extras of each so you don't have to scramble to replace) but if you plan on cooking, bring your food/condiment supplies. Those are not there. Laundry is easy to do on the property and the outside back deck is really nice too. You can't see the ocean but you can hear it from the deck! The tv has DirecTV but if you want streaming services, bring an hd cable to connect tv to your computer. Excellent place to stay, highly recommend the place and the very friendly owners who live across the street as well.

Great Location!

We spent a week at this quaint cottage jus steps from the beach! Loved it! Extra bonus is that you can use the hotel pool behind the cottage! Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

Pros- Property was very clean and neat, easy walk down to beach. Owners were nice, very interactive and accommodating as we had specific needs and were granted. Restaurants nearby relaxed atmosphere dining. Would definitely stay again without hesitation. Cons- if it matters, the town shuts down kinda early so if you plan on late night out dining/drinking can be difficult to find. This was only a problem as we did not arrive until 7pm. If this is not a problem then there are no cons.

Great Stay

We throughly enjoyed our 4-day, 3- night stay! We loved the easy walk and access to the beach, and centralized location to many wonderful shops and restaurants. We are also very happy that this property was pet friendly, and Lucy (our poochie) loved the cottage, hence we loved it too. The cottage is light, airy, comfortable, clean, kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need for your stay - all we had to bring was our food. This is a place we would love to come back to someday, and highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfy and pet friendly stay.

Great Place to Stay - 3 houses from beach

Great place for us to stay. We had two small dogs with us and it worked out well. Owner is very nice (lives across the street)…. The only complaint we had was that the grass (St. Augustine) was very high for our two little dogs. It is really thick and they would almost get lost in it. Grass was being cut as we left.

Great Location!

We loved the cottage we stayed in. It was small but the layout was great. It was very clean and everything was recently updated. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The backyard was great for the dogs. Very short walk to the beach. Only a few houses away. The only improvement I could see would be the chair in the living room. If one person stretches out on the couch, the chair that is left is extremely small and uncomfortable. A small recliner in that spot would be wonderful to be able to stretch out. That still doesn’t take away from giving this place 5 stars!
