Honestly, I went with low expectations, but they surprised me. The staff is great, they are in touch with you to know if everything is okay, the rooms are clean and nice. I have nothing to complain about the place. They are a good option if you want stay in St Augustine and explore the city because it’s close to everything.

Awesome large tv and a lot of channels, a cool train comes by about every 2 hours, no whistle or horm but a soothing rumble and rhythm. Smoking overlook deck scenes from the water and train tracks, ice machine was convenient and operational, drinks available. Breakfast is not offered only regular coffee .

We stayed at this pet friendly hotel for 4 nights during the Nights of Lights celebration. The room was clean. There was no other place to sit besides a desk chair. The water had a terrible smell to it, leaving a sulphur odor in the room. Every place we ate at in St. Augustine had a similar water smell. The water pressure was low. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were small squares, not the regular type of pillow. Made it hard for me to sleep. The noise from the road was pretty loud, this hotel being on a Main Street. The railroad in the back of the hotel wasn’t as annoying as the street noise. The hotel is not far from the historic section of St Augustine, there are several moderate food venues nearby. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which we didn’t try.

Good for the price and very helpful, friendly staff but be aware there is no elevator for 2nd floor rooms and this property is immediately next to active train track with 4 or more trains per 24 hours. Clean room with updated furniture; adequate in size.

There was a large clump of hair under the bathroom door. It was just dirty all over. We stayed last saturday and i know they were bisy but cleanliness is very important. We paid $270 for the night. Its nornally $130 during the week. Their prices are ridiculously high on December weekends. We knew that when we booked but to have a dirty room is unacceptable. I took a picture of the hair. I wish i could post.
