This hotel room addressed every annoyance I usually have with hotel rooms. There was more than one trashcan and they all had bags in them. The easy to read obvious thermostat had a diagram next to it in case it wasn’t clear enough. The TV was not confusing. There were nightstands and multiple outlets on both sides of the bed?!!? Unheard of! Multiple lamps throughout the room and none of them were like an operating room. The bathroom had a real door that didn’t face the bed!!! A chair, a bench AND an ottoman? Heaven! The only issue in the room was that I couldn’t put on makeup in the bathroom because the sink was too high (I’m 5’4”) and the lighting kinda sucked in there. Grounds were fine but I imagine if you have a wimpy little car the driveway may present a challenge esp in the winter! Very pleased.

Water pressure was a little low (low flow shower head), but a good hotel overall. Breakfast choices were limited and a little odd. Bring me a good biscuit and sausage gravy, or some bacon or sausage, but not a chicken tender, for breakfast.

What I didn't like is they switched owners and they rearranged the breakfasts and took out a lot of the good breakfast. This was the reason I stayed there, they had wonderful breakfast. I'm like, for example, chicken fried steak for breakfast.That was wonderful

Avoid at all costs.

This place must have bots that have "reviewed" it. Moisture damage on the walls of the room. Drywall cracks everywhere. Mildew growing in the corner by the A/C. The "no smoking on property" sign outside the hotel quickly lost all meaning when cigarette butts were in the carpet outside the staff lounge, and the whole hall reaked of cigarettes. Great for my kids to ask why there were smokers inside the hotel. Water dripping and pooling around the pool windows on the lobby side. The floor of the hallway had many large bumps in it. No warnings or signage. I would hate to be elderly and walk down that hallway. Maybe this place had a "good spell" but something had to have happened with management or something because I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me.
