I am quite perplexed as to why they would put the toilet paper dispensers so far away from the toilet in the room that we had. You literally have to reach back and bend over to get the paper. Also, when you open the door, it is about an inch from the front of the toilet to the edge of the door. The bed was comfortable but the "fitted sheet" easily came off. Very hard to safely get across traffic on Bluff Street when busy. IMO, Abbey Inn has dropped in value. I will be looking elsewhere if up that way in the future.

We chose this hotel because it had a heated pool and hot tub.This was confirmed at time of reservation. When we checked in we were told both were closed for scheduled maintenance. The hotel should have told us this at reservation. And mentioned it in the several welcoming emails they sent us over the last few weeks. This is totally unacceptable. I will be giving a bad review on several websites.

I was very disappointed in the breakfast menu on Tues., day number 2. My husband and I were very excited for the omelet that morning. There was no omelet service that day and the little pastries were, I’m sure, day old and there was only 4 of them. If you only do omelets on certain days then I think it would be nice to let us know the schedule. Everything else was very good.

Staff was nice, breakfast was good. But the room i booked wasn't available when i arrived and I got put in a dirty room complete with used linens like dirty towels, stained pillowcases, trash in the cans etc. Definally not the best experiance.
