Staff was awesome, but rooms smelled. We had to get air fresheners for the room. Also we needed to purchase new pillows since the pillows in the rooms were like sleeping on a pizza box. The towels had stains on them, and it just seemed the upkeep was not really a priority. If it wasn’t for the great staff there the review would be a 2.

Blood on my bedsheets, hair on my pillowcases and sheets upon arrival. When I asked for new sheets those were STILL dirty. The lady had to look through 5 more until she found clean ones to give me! My kids and their cousins threw up and had diarrhea after swimming in their pool. Don’t stay here!!!!!!

My sister had blood on the sheets in her room, and we had hair on ours. The hallway was musty and smelled like cigarette smoke. The property was nothing like the images online - very misleading.

Great weekend getaway with pets.

Everything was great. We were pleasently suprised thar our 1 dog was welcome at no additional charge. Pet friendly. The staff was so wonderful and friendly. We were sad to find there was not breakfast offered as Hotels.com advertises this hotel as having hot breakfast. The hotel does keep hot coffee in the lobby but no breakfast. This is not a negative against the hotel, hotels.com just needs to update their descriptions. Red Roof Inn was a great place to stay for the weekend.

I was almost willing to ignore the dirty sock left in the corner. Gross, yes, but fine — maybe housekeeping missed it, I even overlooked the disgusting baseboards. What I could not ignore were the urine stained sheets! Yes, you read that right. When my teen pulled back the covers to go to sleep, he saw urine stained sheets. I thought he was joking, I could only WISH he was. But it wasn’t a joke. That isn’t only disgusting, but a full-on health hazard. The sock, in combination with the dirts base/floors & dirty sheets shows no one here cares, no one checks, and clearly no one cleans. This wasn’t “oops, small mistake” this was disgusting. To top it all off, I reached out multiple times by phone, email, & Expedia survey giving this place a chance to at least apologize or offer some explanation. Guess what? No call back, no email, no shred of professionalism. It’s almost impressive how they’re able to just ignore me. I understand they don’t want to give me a refund, they clearly need it money more…but the fact they haven’t addressed this (health hazard) at all is bizarre. Save yourself the nightmare and stay literally anywhere else; unless you like rolling around in filth then this place is for you!! Sleeping in your car is more respectful than this disgrace. But…I should have known better based on the price. My kids nicknamed this place the Cecil Hotel how creepy/gross it was. The only good thing about this place was Stacey, the front desk clerk…

Ok for the price, beds are firm, a lot of noise

Room was clean but bed was hard and uncomfortable. A lot of noise early in the morning from construction company employees at 4am n the moring. Moved to a differnt room and TV did not work. Decided to check out early and go to another hotel.

Staff was kind and professional, had to book last minute with my fur baby and they made the process simple and easy to understand. I was pleased with my stay here and would definitely go back if needed.

tub was clogged. staff were okay. place was quiet. pool closed too early and opened late so it felt like you can’t really use it. room was dusty so if you have allergies like my kids, prepare medication. they serve coffee nothing else. they have tables outside where we ate and that was okay until someone who smokes decides they wanna stay there too. it was a smoking area apparently. there was no other area for us to sit in and enjoy a meal except that spot. they have a vending machine which our kids made sure to use lol.
