Very clean and loved being right on the beach! We were told there are going to be some nice upgrades for 2026! The property is a little dated, however, great staff and communicates well about any question you may have! Booking again soon!

The staff were great but the hotel is in need of an update.
The staff was awesome- very friendly and helpful. I appreciate having a full-size table and couch in the room. The building is cinderblock so hard floors and thin walls. It was lovely being so close to the beach. I would stay here again.

The front desk staff are very professional and friendly. The beachfront location of the Inn is also convenient to walk to restaurants or a convenient store. The hotel is older, but our room was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable.
One thing that was disappointing is that I paid extra for an ocean view room. The bottom floor room that we had did not have a view of the ocean. I looked out onto a construction/stair repair site. If my 6 foot four husband stood on his tippy toes. He could see a little sliver of the ocean above the stairs and sea oats. That’s really false advertising to book that room as an ocean view room. (See photo attached of our view) There was an issue with the cable provider so there was no TV service. Normally I don’t care about that on a short beach vacation however there was a sports game we wanted to watch that night. They graciously offered us a different room or a credit. We opted for the credit in this case since the other room didn’t have enough beds to accommodate our family, but really should’ve gotten a credit for the lack of ocean view as advertised.
Great location. In desperate need of a deep clean and some updates. Didn’t use the coffee pot as it had a thick layer of dust on it. Actually, didn’t use any of the kitchen. Couldn’t use the dresser as the drawers had dirt in them and smelled moldy.
We had a great time staying on the beach at the Buccaneer Inn. The room was very clean and the air quality was very good. We loved that it was right on the beach.

Well kept and clean rooms, over all facility is older and a bit worn but it adds to the beachy charm. Direct beach access and lots of spots to sit and hang out on the deck near the pool
We had a perfect beach view from the deluxe room. The pool was fun! The bed was a little too hard but overall very comfy! We will definitely stay here again.

Right on the ocean was very nice. Pet friendly including poop bag area.
Overall hotel is dated and needs an update.
Beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. WiFi was good. Everything was as clean as could be for its age. Pool was good. Free parking.
