Dolphin Suites - an excellent place to stay. Very clean, great AC, the suite was very comfortable and everything was nice and new. It’s located a short (3 minute) walk from all the going’s on in Cruz Bay. The owner was great and very responsive to any questions. No fault of Dolphin Suites, but the short walk to the shops/restaurants is a bit dangerous as the roads are super narrow and sidewalks very limited. On a side note the ferry system to get to Saint John from Saint Thomas (and back) is weird. No one seems to know what’s going on and they refuse to help. This results in a bit of cluster.
Nice little apartment steps from town. Has everything you need. Full kitchen. Fold out couch makes it great for kids or guests. Washer and dryer. Will definitely be a repeat stay in my future. One (potential) negative is the walk up the hill and stairs to the room. Wouldn’t recommend for someone who has health issues or difficulty walking. Otherwise great.
Our stay at the Dolphin Suites in Cruz Bay was quite nice. The suites themselves are lovely with modern styling, in-suite washer/dryers, and a full kitchen. Loved the view of Cruz bay from the balcony.
Note, there is no front desk or check-in as we had assumed, so you’ll get your check in information via email. The location is nice with a short walk to the central area in Cruz Bay. There is parking below the units which was nice.
You do have to climb three flights of exterior stairs to reach the suites on the top of the building, but it isn’t too bad.
You also stay right next to a supermarket which is convenient for food/drinks. Plus, the included usage of snorkel gear and beach chairs/towels was really nice.
Overall a great stay, would stay again.
This location was great, within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The place was very clean and equipped with high end appliances. I just wished it was a little bigger. Though the place can sleep up to 4 people, the overall space would be tight for 4.
The property is about as convenient as you can get on the island. There is a convenience store connected to the facility, shops and restaurants are a short walk away, and you have a fabulous view from the balcony. A must for first time visitors!!!
I must admit I was a bit concerned about the property after reading a previous post. But, please let me share that this property is amazing. The Wiz as we called him, was very knowledgeable about the property. We called him the Wiz because we never saw him (Wizzard of Oz) but he helped us with the check in process and checking out. The only problem with the property is that we had to find the number to call but, that is an issue with expedia not the property. Expedia should be clear on the check in process. Overall, I am also a owner in the Territory and I loved this property. I would always recommend it to other.
I actually did not get to stay here because they said they did not have my reservation. i was so excited. they left me on the street. I called the number no one answered and finally sent a test PLEASE TEXT ME. I sent the Manager a screen shot of my reservation. He said he was full and could not accommodate me. I said paid with my American Express. Then they let me know they fired the manager and he didn't put it on the calendar. So basically left my children and family stranded. Thank you to EXPEDIA for taking care of us and putting us up and taking care of us making sure we had someplace to stay.
