Frank Bay House is a 3-story villa with street-level parking and two gated street-level entries to the villa.  The private pool and courtyard are located on the ground floor with an outdoor shower.  Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed plus a single bed and their own ensuite full bath, are on the second floor, along with an outdoor shower and a charming courtyard.  The third floor has an open-air covered living room, enclosed kitchen and open-air dining area, all of which have panoramic views of the surrounding water, St. Thomas, and of sunset.  The villa has Wi-Fi throughout and Roku streaming enabled 4K TVs in each of the air-conditioned bedroom suites.  The island-style kitchen is ready for coffee in the morning, cocktails later in the day, or gourmet meals, even with the in-town restaurants waiting for you only a few minutes away.  The house is stocked with beach towels and beach chairs as you adventure to nearby beaches, with the pool awaiting your return.

The views from this property are just stunning! Sitting on the open living area and watching the sunset was prime! I’m giving it 5 stars because beauty, location and communication were exactly as described. Here’s the minor downfalls… the second room where I slept had ants crawling all over the walls. My little boy got bites all over his back the first night (poor guy). Then because of the amazing views, it’s tucked up in lush gorgeous trees that are home to bats and bugs that make noises most of the night. Haha we turned the fans on all night, turned on white noise on our phones, and used ear plugs to sleep. So these are items the property doesn’t have much control over but just wanted to make people aware. Also you NEED a 4x4 vehicle to get to the property. The hill is crazy! Haha

Gorgeous house, clean and comfortable. Gorgeous views from the lovely open outdoor living area. Great location, very short drive to restaurants etc in Cruz Bay, sometimes we walked to town. Good communication with host. Loved the pool, loved the open layout of the house.

We had the most wonderful stay! The location was absolutely perfect — close to everything yet still peaceful and relaxing. The host truly thought of everything; the home was fully stocked with all the essentials and so many thoughtful extras (reef safe sunscreen, towels and chairs). It looked exactly like the photos — if not better! Picture perfect from start to finish. We would 100% stay here again.

I wasn't sure about this open-air living concept when we booked this but it turned out to be the most unique experience. Highly recommend adding it to your bucket list! No walls, windows...just ocean breezes and great views! The main living areas are under roof so you are protected from any brief showers. The bedrooms are air conditioned and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed.The pool is amazing! There are other homes close by but the lush vegetation provides privacy. There are many levels to this home so be prepared to do lots of stairs...the best justification for lounging hours in the pool :) This home is in a great location, walking distance to restaurant's and shops. Terrific little get away!!

Hidden Gem!

We had an amazing stay at the Frank Bay house! The pictures do not capture the great amenities of this place which include a 3 level open air concept, a private pool, two comfortable bedrooms with AC, and a short walk to Cruz Bay. Also appreciate how helpful the property manager Tammy was during our stay! Looking forward to renting here again!

We loved this house. LOVED IT! Views are incredible. Open air living space and kitchen, air conditioned comfy bedrooms and a large clean pool. Walking distance to everything, just know that there are steep hills in St John so be prepared with good shoes. Pictures don’t do this home justice.
