Breakfast was not great, had the eggs Benedict. $20 and doesn’t come with hash browns or any side. There was a certain smell to the room/linen that was overwhelming. Room definitely in need of an update!

Room is very stuffy without an operable window, bed is too soft and pillows are super cheap too. Recommend to clean the hair dryer thoroughly

Monastery is wonderful! This was my second time staying here. The staff is kind, the food is great, the rooms are clean, and it feels very safe and welcoming. My first stay, they even did all my laundry, including my bag, and returned it the same day which was so helpful. This will continue to be my go-to place to stay in St. John’s!

Our first time here and the overall serenity of this place is beautiful. clean, inviting and the service in the restaurant is fantastic. the view at the restaurant is also calming and we will for sure be back again.

Room provided ample dresser drawers and closet space with luggage rack. Electric fireplace in unit, ( tv volume on remote tricky) used manual buttons on top. Jucuzzi tub in room but has little ambiance (plain walls) = no incentive. The style place is a little dated but was comfortable enough and provided everything including a fridge in room and desk and decent chair(s). There are bedside reading lights and/or lamp light which ever you prefer and an alarm clock. King size bed was comfortable. Staff provided extra towels when requested and answered all of our enquiries professionally. Breakfast was included at the Bistro inside the Spa building. Simple menu to choose from to get your day started. Staff were attentive, friendly and provided cordial service.

Great breakfast and service in bistro - enjoyed the Aveda products! Room was a little worn/tired unfortunately although our room had large window on 2nd floor with an electric firelog - very dirty exhaust vent in bathroom - closet door off rails - only 2 large towels left w/no face cloths. Had higher expectations based on reviews

The room was in the basement so small windows high up - could'nt oprn them. The room was hot and couldn't control the temperatiure from the room. But well appointed and clean. Great Bistro.
