We did have a great stay but one thing bothered us. While at the bar Friday night, a customer approximately 25-30 years old allowed her dog to run loose through the hotel while she sat at the bar drinking. When a customer brought the dog to the young lady, she sat the dog on the bar. When bar staff explained the dog was not allowed, the female became belligerent, threatening to assault at least one bartender, calling bar staff profane names. Bar staff cut her drinks off and asked her to leave. The female began recording staff from her cell phone and creating a disturbance with other patrons. After about 30 minutes, management called police. Police showed up and between hotel management and police, they allowed her to go back to her room. I felt like management did not support staff and the female should have been told to leave.

I really liked the hotel and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean, but the furnace had an issue and the room did not get warmer than 60 degrees. Beautiful place though and despite the issue we will visit again.
