Disliked: Cleanliness
Was traveling with a friend, we requested to check in early, paid to do so, noon to be specific, had to contact the host several time after noon to get the code to get into the house. When we walked in the house smelled so bad. The air purifier didn’t do the job. There was a left in the toilet, two tissues in the Kleenex box with no more to be found, stains on the shower curtain, stains on the side table in the front bedroom, not talking little stains on either. All of which could have been over looked but things got worse, after checking in there was a domestic argument between the neighbors that included throwing of things (could hear glass breaking) and threatening of a vehicle that was parked just behind ours. We contacted the host, she called the neighbor and things did get quiet, but we were then worried that the neighbor would retaliate! My friend went to shower and it wouldn’t engage, it was broke. Contacted host, she claimed it had just happened, she said you had to manually do it by sticking your fingers up in the faucet, we tried, still couldn’t get it to work. Host said that service couldn’t be done until following Wed. I contacted Vrbo and we left that night. Host threatened and did keep the refund she agreed to with Vrbo so I wouldn’t leave her a bad review. shower incident wasn’t new, per prv review. Told me she was a SC and I threatened her livlihood, said there was a bathroom in basement I could have used. None of this ever mentioned until we left prprty
