The staff were fabulously helpful and friendly. The happy hour (and bartender) with it 3-drink limit and snacks (or dinner depending on ones' appetite,) was a great way to close out a day (for us, spent at one of the local/nearby hospitals (just minutes away). The pool (indoor to out) was invigorating, shared by quite a number of kids. Perhaps the pool could have been larger, as folks seemed to flock out to the pool and sun after happy hour. One other minor suggestion--while lighting in the room was more than adequate, we like to read in bed at night, and it would've been helpful to have those over-the-head on-the-headboard lights that narrow the light to the reader. If back at St. Lukes or Chesterfield-area generally, this will be our choice lodging, not only for the hospital rate brought to our attention upon registering. Nice!

The good is free breakfast, happy hour and dinner. The bad is the food quality is marginal, except the drinks, and only 1 sink even in the King suite, no body lotion, Q-tips, in-room safe nor slippers. Rooms are dated.

My room's refrigerator would always freeze any food in it overnight. When I told front desk about this, they told me that I should be able to find a thermostat at the back of the unit and to set it to my desired temperature. However, the refrigerator needed to be completely pulled out of the cabinet. After this call, I realized there was no way I could pull this out, having had two shoulder replacements this year. Not only did they not send a staff up to do this for me, I had to deal with frozen food all week long.
