This was the worst situation I have ever encountered. I was unable to make the check in date. I sent 2 messages to the hotel. I showed up early the next day and was told that my reservation was cancelled since I did not show up. I explained to them that I messaged them the morning of the reservation as well as the afternoon. I informed them that I was not able to make it to st Louis in time. Instead I would arrive Monday. I then wrote I was adding an additional night. ( Which I paid for upfront)
When I got to the hotel ( on Monday) I was told all my money had been forfeited because I was a no show. I reminded them that I had messaged them a couple of times. There response to me was " We don't have anyone that monitors the emails/messages... People have time off ,you know!". "Okay then," I said " take a look now and you will see that I messaged... Please check me in to my room that I paid for through expedia".
The Lady at the front desk told me it was too late.
I contacted Expedia, they did not help at all!. I was very surprised. I lost all the money I paid for the 3 nights. I had to then go down the road and rent another hotel room.
I don't think I will use Expedia anymore. I have lost my trust.
