The carpeting was filthy. My white socks were dirty from walking on the floor. We couldn’t turn off the HVAC fan. In addition the HVAC return air filter had fuzz on it. I have photos to prove it. I can’t imagine the last time the filter was changed. Seating for breakfast was small. I would be embarrassed to display my name on this lodging if I was Wyndham. One positive note, our breakfast hostess worked tirelessly to keep everything neat and stocked.

I hate to rate this hotel so low because the staff was absolutely amazing, but the room was so wet and musty. It was raining quite a bit while we were there but everything in the room was just damp and smelled musty/moldy. The bathroom was consistently wet as well. I did appreciate the proximity to one of the exits for bringing our pets in/out to potty outside and to bring luggage in. The area was OK, a few times we saw people walking outside in the back of the hotel that appeared to be homeless. My parents also had a room here and their room was not nearly as musty smelling and was overall a decent room.

The person checking us in said all the right things but never smiled and was monotone the entire time. I accidentally forgot my phone at the desk. Not only did the lady working the desk not bring it to our room (no she was not busy) I walked past her twice looking for it and she never said anything. If I had not directly asked her if I left it at the desk, I do not believe I would have received it back. The room smelled very musty when arriving. There is mold on the ceiling above the shower. There was dried snot on the shower curtain. The a/c return above the sink is so covered in dust it is hanging down. There is also a lot of dust on the ceiling in the corners above the sink area. Lastly, one of the beds was shifted off it's frame, (it happens) however, because it was off its frame the metal frame was sticking out and I ran right into it and bruised my shin. The linens on the beds are clean as well as the towels, however, there was only 1 washcloth for 4 people. We did not complain about any of this or bring it to anyone's attention as we are only staying one night. That being said, we will not stay at this location again.

Dirty underwear in the room trash in the room,liquor bottles in the room,tv did not work, light did not work, ice machines were not working. The motel took my money before I arrived at the hotel despite me having chosen the pay at property option.The manager did not attempt to resolve any of these problems after I notified the front desk. I will never stay at this property again.Hotels.com not responding to the problems after spending time on the phone with them.The property lying to me saying that they do I’d not take the money out of my account.

Well done overall, very comfortable, very quiet, great for my dogs, the breakfast could use a refill before it’s done for the day and a little bit more cleanliness as far as wiping down the bathroom sink and nightstand, but besides that a wonderful stay.

We were assigned to a room that had a strong odor of smoking. We complained and were given another room with no odor. However, the refrigerator was not working. The desk clerk came and swapped out the refrigerator for another one in our original room. But, the next morning, we found that was also not keeping things cool, so we had to throw out some of our things.

We was on a family trip to six flags. The hotel we was supposed to stay at canceled us last minute. I booked at Wingate and we received a text from the front desk personel, not a robot. She stated our room was booked and asked if we needed anything. I let her know we was at six flags and would be arriving late. She said no problem you guys enjoy your day and have fun. How many hotels do that, it was a first for me. We got there later and she had everybody's reservation paperwork all lined up and was ready to check us in which took less than 5 minutes. We rewarded her with pizza. Outstanding
