Location is great.
The staff is not friendly. The check-in process was fast, but the receptionist at the front desk was short, cold, and passive-aggressive. The next day, another receptionist was nowhere to be found at first. Later, I discovered that she had been smoking a cigarette at the restaurant next door. I stood there for a good 3–5 minutes, left, and then returned, only to find the reception area still unattended while she was inside the restaurant smoking at the bar. She was there for the next two days. Shuttle is available but for a fee. No iron available to use. I was told it can be sent out for ironing but won’t get it until the following day. All this could’ve been communicated at check in process.
Speaking of smoking, it was impossible to sit inside the restaurant due to the stale smoke odor. Even walking through the restaurant to the patio made it hard to breathe.
The breakfast was great, and the staff there were excellent. However, both receptionists at the front desk should consider a different line of work, as they are not suited for this type of service.
Rooms were older but clean. Location is great. Could not tolerate the smoke odour in the hotel. Will not stay again.
