"Grove" Historic Beachside Cottage Apartment 1/1 – Steps to Sand!

Tucked behind the dunes in Indian Rocks Beach, this historic beach cottage apartment maintains its classical charm, but with all the contemporary amenities.

Built in 1921, this fully-renovated cottage suite consists of a queen bedroom, full bathroom, updated kitchen/living area, and private patio just steps from Indian Rocks Beach’s famed sugar sand and the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

More than 100 years old, the "Grove" is set in one of Indian Rocks Beach's earliest cottages. Lovingly tended to and recently renovated, it is now available for the first time in more than a decade.

The apartment connects to the main cottage along a tree-covered side alley. In the bedroom, there is a queen bed, two bedside tables with lamps, and a full closet with lots of clothes storage.

The adjoining bathroom contains a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet, with plenty of fresh linens for both home and beach use.

In the open plan living area are an armchair and a loveseat sofa bed with a twin mattress to accommodate another guest.

The kitchen is fully loaded with new appliances and cooking tools, as well as a dining table and chairs.

The apartment has private parking and direct exterior access to Indian Rocks Beach's sugar sand and the Gulf of Mexico without crossing the street.

Guests will have private use of the entire cottage apartment and secluded patio.

As residents next door, we are generally available to answer questions or respond to comments by text, phone, email, or in person.

The cottage apartment comes fully stocked with new linens and towels, as well as some cooking and bathing essentials.

Brand new air conditioning, high-speed wifi, and cable television are included, and use of the on-premises laundry room with washer and dryer is free of charge.

This quaint, 3-room, 100-year old dwelling hides like a jewel amongst the condos on the beach side of Gulf Blvd. There are some quirks: the bathroom situated between the bedroom and kitchen, and a parking space that requires either backing into or off of Gulf Blvd. It is literally a few easy steps from a beautiful beach with no road to cross. The outdoor space has abundant trees which offer privacy from the condos and the road. The landscaping has been restored so that one would not suspect that Helene had 'visited.' The owner is quite personable and lives on the property. We've shared our suggestions for that 5th star. We would stay here again.

Cozy apartment for two in a vintage cottage

What can I say, it was steps away from the beach like advertised! And what a great beach. A cute and cozy little place with a small kitchen perfect for cooking breakfast and small meals as needed. The hosts did a phenomenal job with any questions or needs that came up. Very quick to respond. The AC went unexpectedly and the issue was resolved within hours.

The host was responsive to our request for a few kitchen items. The property was as advertised. The beach was family friendly and a short walk from the property. I had not expected that the house is right beside the main road, so there was noise from all the passing vehicles, and getting into and out of the drive was a bit challenging.We would stay here again.

Great little cottage

We enjoyed our stay, the host was very welcoming and was there for anything we might have needed. Clean well kept place to enjoy vacation. Just steps from the beach and located close to many restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again.
