When enjoying your stay at Sunset Getaway, the whole family can walk or ride our bikes to the end of the block and you're at Sunset Beach Park.  Sunset Beach rest on the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.  

Or just relax the day away, when you lay by the pool or have a cool drink under the palm tree.  There's plenty of beach/pools toys and the whole family can join in a bean bag toss and pool volleyball.  

Rather stretch out and see the countryside?  Take our bikes and visit the riding trails and beaches at nearby Howard park (1.5 miles away) or ride to our world famous Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks about 3.5 miles away and enjoy a piece of history and the local culture.

You are 25 miles from Tampa International Airport, 90 minutes to the theme parks in Orlando, 45 minutes from Busch Gardens and only 28 minutes from the beautiful Clearwater Beaches. For golf lovers, the world famous Innisbrook Golf Course is only about 2.5 miles away.

This property is a 20, on a scale of 1-10! It is head and shoulders over every prior property that I have rented on VRBO. It is clean, very well provisioned and located in a nice, safe area. There are very good restaurants and pubs close by and downtown Tarpon Springs is beautiful. The property manager was responsive and helpfull, from our engagement to checkout. Our group visited the area for our annual Spring Training Baseball trip, and we could not have picked a better location. Returning home from the ball park to a clean, sun drenched and refreshing pool was the cherry on top. The local beaches are also great, particularly the state park.Thank you Steve and Co.

Relax at the Beach

We enjoyed a week here. We walked to the Beach when we wanted, mostly stayed by the pool. Great neighborhood, enjoyed evening walks, 5 minutes from downtown. Will definitely be back. Steve was great to deal with, very accommodating.

An absolutely perfect stay!

We had the most wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that they had thought of every little detail to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed (and more). The pool was a total highlight—private and perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but this one truly did. Wonderful vacation

This is a beautiful beach home near the beach. My family of four had a wonderful time here. The kids loved the pool and all the bikes and toys already there for us. We used the provided kayak at the sunset beach 5min walk down the road. The host was responsive and professional. We went to Lego land that was just over an hour away and went to Tampa/St. Petersburg. Thank you! A++++ We will return again 100%

This is the ONE you’ve been searching for!

This house has it ALL! We all said “Wow!”when we walked in the door. This house is SO clean and the pool and beach accessories were perfect. Awesome house and pool!

We have stayed at lots of homes and this one was hands down the most clean and well stocked. Very relaxing out by the pool and beautiful. Nice neighborhood and great location. Impressive!!!

House was very clean and kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Garage was loaded with pool toys and beach items. Walking distance to beach. My wife and I, two daughters, son in laws, grandchildren and two dogs had a great time in this house. No need to look anywhere else, book this house. Steve and Joyce were great hosts and very easy to communicate with. Look forward to visiting again.

A fabulous house and vacation!

This house had everything we were looking for and then some! The inside was beautifully decorated, comfy, warm and welcoming. Outside was a huge bonus!! From the fantastic and gorgeous pool area to the outdoor grilling area, it was more than we could have imagined. The garage was filled with everything you could ever need for a day at Sunset Beach. Nice place

The home is very nice and well-stocked for all needs. Master BR is last room to get ac so it’s quite uncomfortable. We had to use fans to survive the heat. Owner had a portable ac delivered, but no way to hook it up properly in the window, so it was useless. They have a very generous restaurant gift card for the inconvenience which was appreciated. The area is okay. It’s a bay, not the ocean. I should have examined the map more closely. We would have stayed in Clearwater or further south had we realized.

Birthday Reunion

Spent a wonderful, relaxing birthday with family to celebrate first trip since COVID. Property was very clean, comfortable, well stocked and just a quick three block walk to Sunset Beach. Perfect vacation and hope to book this house in the future.
