The staff were certainly not warm and welcoming. Not one smile from the lady that checked us in, she seemed very stressed. The room was freezing cold. I called maintenance and front desk several times, when he finally came, he said it was because it was old. The water from the shower was barely a trickle. Also, on day of checkout, 11am housekeeper knocked on room door telling us we would charged an extra night if we did not leave immediately. We were not impressed, we used to frequent this property but we will not return, there are far nicer, welcoming hotels in the area. I am also a Wyndham Diamond member.

The front desk confused our reservation. They told us we had 2 reservations that were prepaid. We spent about 2 hours trying to figure this out and contact whoever we needed to resolve this. There was only one reservation and their wrong information caused us to spend about about 2 hours trying to resolve this. They said the reservation was a third party named hotelbeds.com, which I have never heard of. It was very stressful because we tried to cancel the phantom second reservation before the check in date, the date we checked in. Thanks for any feedback.

Unfortunately we had to check out soon after we checked in as the room was not only dirty, but the shower nozzle was broken, shower head was full of mold, the sink hot water handle was not working, the ceiling was coming down and their was a puddle of water from a leak in the ceiling. We had two rooms, and the other room had no air conditioning and the staff was unable to connect us.

Room was in disrepair - safe didn’t open, door to shower didn’t open easily, shower door leaked big time, fridge didn’t work. Whole place needs a paint job. But great location to all the restaurants and stores of Safety Harbor.

The room we stayed in was in an old and run-down section of the hotel. Only 2 very flat pillows provided and mattress was uncomfortable. No complementary water provided and when I called front desk to ask about water, I was directed to a water filter machine by the elevators that didn’t have cups. I expected that even a basic room from a facility that sits directly over a mineral water spring could afford their guests with 2 small bottles of water. The outside pools were not heated, perhaps broken. The outside tiki pool’s complimentary water jugs were empty and when I brought it to the attention of staff-it remained empty and I had to wait in line for a water refill each time. The Safety Harbor area is charming and I’ll plan on a return trip.

We loved our stay, the staff is very accommodating, we were able to check in early. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was always good but was not included with the room. We’ll be back again
