We are offering this charming renovated house for rent in the commune of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, in the heart of the Alpilles mountains on a former wine estate. The house is air-conditioned, has a surface area of 250 m² and can accommodate up to 8 guests. It comprises a lovely 65 m² living room, a fully equipped kitchen, four beautiful bedrooms, three bathrooms (with shower and bathtub), and a garden for you to enjoy. Wi-Fi (fiber optic) included. We are waiting for you!

The accommodation is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A 65 m² living room with sofa and TV.
- A fully equipped kitchen with: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, Nespresso pod coffee machine, etc.
- Separate toilet.
- Laundry room.

On the first floor:
- Master bedroom: a king-size bed (180×200) opening onto a 13 m² terrace with a bathroom (shower and bathtub) and private toilet.
- Bedroom 2: a king-size bed (180×200) with a bathroom with shower and private toilet.
- A small lounge where you can discuss your travel memories over coffee or tea. From this lounge, you have access to the upper terrace with a breathtaking view of the Alpilles.

On the 2nd floor:
- Bedroom 3: two single beds that can be pushed together.
- Bedroom 4: two single beds that can be pushed together.
- A bathroom with shower, shared between the two bedrooms.
- Separate toilet.
- A relaxation area with table and chairs.

For even more comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue,
fondue set, washing machine, plancha grill, dryer, iron and ironing board. To make the stay easier for families with two young children, the following are available: two high chairs, a crib, and a baby bathtub.

Outside:
- A jacuzzi for 5 people, available from April to October (weather permitting).
- A private, heated swimming pool (4.25 x 2.35 and 1.50 m), available from May 1 to September 30, with a safety cover.
- A beautiful 320 m² enclosed garden.
- A 24 m² terrace with furniture to enjoy sunny days.
- A pizza oven is available. Everything you need to light it is provided on site.

The house is ideally located in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, in a very pleasant environment. You will be close to all essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets, and more.

Activities:
- Many places to visit: Avignon, Arles, Nimes, Aix en Provence, Marseille, Les Baux-de-Provence, Glanum, and Saint Remy.
- Horseback riding in the Alpilles.
- Golf in Les Baux-de-Provence and Maussane-les-Alpilles.
- Hiking in the Alpilles Regional Park, Romanin gliding club (glider plane) facing the Alpilles massif.
- Avignon flying club and Salon Eyguieres.
- Fishing at the lake.

Transportation:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the covered garage (1 space) and private parking lot of the house.

For other modes of transportation, here is some information that may be useful:
- Nearest train station: Avignon train station located 25 km away (about 40 minutes by car)
- Nearest airport: Marseille airport 66 km away (about 52 minutes by car)

Other remarks:
- Free Wi-Fi available (fiber optic).
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- The owners live next door to the accommodation.
- Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request at an additional cost (rental and payment to be made to our local partner).
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean condition and clean the appliances after use.
- Children must be supervised by a parent when swimming. Opening dates are not contractual and are subject to weather conditions.

Extremely disappointing and unsafe stay

We had booked for 10 nights but had to leave after 3 as my sister sustained injury after falling through the bridge that is the only access point to and from the property. If either my older parents or young children had fallen through the bridge, it could have been much worse. The condition of the bridge was unsafe and appears to have been poorly maintained. Although the owner attempted a repair on the same day of the accident, we had no confidence in its adequacy and left the property on an emergency basis. The booking agency Cocoonr did not assist us at all with this. Apart from this incident, there were additional problems:• there was a water leak inside the property after rainfall one night which caused a puddle to form on the tiled hallway floor – a clear slipping hazard, especially for children or older adults.• apart from the area around the pool, the garden was not well maintained and was strewn with debris and discarded tools — a stark contrast to the clean and well-kept outdoor space shown in the listing photos.• upon arrival, the property was not cleaned to an acceptable standard for a holiday rental. We had to mop floors, unclog overflowing shower drains, etc. The property is in a lovely location but the owner and agency should seriously reconsider the safety and cleanliness protocols for this listing before continuing to rent it out. We had hoped for a relaxing family holiday here but unfortunately for us it was anything but.

Lovely stay in an amazing setting

Beautiful location with a stunning view of Les Alpilles - near a winery, a glider airport and plenty of trails, an easy drive to St Remy. Eclectic decor throughout, with newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen. We had a wonderful stay, and enjoyed many meals at home in the garden and spent afternoons relaxing near the pool (in addition to seeing the many cultural offerings in the area). Highly recommend! And Patrick the proprietor is wonderful.

Îlot de calme et de fraîcheur aux pieds des Alpilles

Situation du gîte centrale permet d'accéder rapidement à beaucoup de belles villes et villages de la Provence. Les murs épais de cette belle demeure, à la décoration personnalisée, garantissent une fraîcheur très appréciable quand il fait très chaud. Parfait pour des vacances entre amis.

Magnifique corps de ferme

Bonne expérience dans les Alpilles avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la chaine, au calme et loin des nuisances sonores. Une petite semaine de réveillon pour nous en famille et amis avec une pièce à vivre d'exception (ancienne cave voutée en pierre) et une maison accueillante, décorée Indo-Asie et pleine d'experience de voyage du propriétaire. Séjour reposant mais petit bémol sur le chauffage d'appoint du séjour car en hiver les 18° permanent, c'est bien mais pas suffisant...néanmoins un poêle est en construction et ceci devrait tout arranger. Dans tous les cas, je suis certain que pour l'été, c'est plutôt un avantage. Jacuzzi et four à bois extérieur que nous n'avons pas utilisés mais certainement très pratiques...amenez vos raquettes de tennis car le terrain est sompteux. Endroit à recommander.
