Cute Cottage 3 Blocks to Beach & Village! BRAND NEW remodel Fall of 2024!

Premiere location, furnishings, and linens. A 6 minute walk to the beach or 10 minutes to the Village. Enjoy dining al fresco, grilling, or relaxing in the privacy fenced back yard on the sun deck or covered porch. A large installed outdoor fan makes the warmer days cooler, and the chiminea makes the cooler evenings cozier. The home has a newly remodeled and nicely equipped, bright kitchen with white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and white quartz countertops. The kitchen is open to the living room on one side and a separate sunroom on the other that can be either left open or closed off with sliding barn doors.

The home is furnished with new, comfortable, and beautiful seating and bedding, four Samsung flat-screen TVs, Amazon Echo, wi-fi, and an in-wall safe. Beautiful, clean tiled floors throughout along with air purifiers make this pet-friendly home comfortable for everyone.

There is off street parking for four vehicles, including a driveway and additional paved parking in front of the house. There is a separate, indoor laundry room furnished with a new washer and dryer.

An outdoor shower with hot water is the perfect place to rinse off the sand or enjoy a shower al fresco.

A beach wagon, 2 umbrellas, 4 sand chairs, and an extra-large foldable dog crate are in the utility room, accessed from inside the garage.

A cleaning Fee of $150, which VRBO identifies as "Host Fees" will be included in your total. This is the ONLY required "Host Fee." If you are bringing a pet, you should check the Box for Pet when making your reservation, and a $175 pet fee, which VRBO also describes as a "Host Fee" will be included in your total.

"Service Fees" are paid to VRBO as their compensation. VRBO collects local and state taxes and pays them directly to the tax collecting authorities, as required by law.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please set the thermostat to 78 in the warm months and 68 in the cool months.
Place all trash and leftover food into a garbage bag and deposit into the rolling trash bin. Do not leave trash in the garage.
We realize accidents happen. Please advise if you accidentally break or soil something so we can make things nice for the next guest.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Local Rules: Quiet hours 10pm-7am. Parking only on the concrete driveway and pad. Max 4 cars.
Dog droppings left on the property and/or inordinate amounts of dog hair left will incur an additional housekeeping charge of at least $25.
Security deposit is set to refund 7 days following check-out. Guests will be notified prior to that if debits are to be made from the deposit.

We really enjoyed our stay in SSI at this home. We are a family of 5 (3 teens) and one doodle. The yard was perfect for him and when we had a couple of windy days where beach weather wasn't great, hanging in the yard / porch with family and dog proved so relaxing. The location is phenomenal. Quiet street in a pocket of quiet streets. The walk to the beach is charming and quick and flat. :) We cooked several meals and found everything needed in the kitchen. We also walked to the village for meals - easy and yummy. The house was easy to take care of - laundry room is clean and well appointed. The floors are so easy with a pup. Rooms worked well. Vanity space is a little tight if you have family members with lots of care products - so perhaps a hooked bag in the bathrooms is the way to pack. The owners left very helpful suggestions for activities. We rode horses with The Stables at Frederica. It was a great family activity and interesting to be able to access the Cloisters and Sea Island area for the tour. We also visited the WWII Homefront museum - so educational and interactive - and the Lighthouse - the view of the top is astounding. This was a wonderful spring break - thank you to owners! :)

Really enjoyed a long-term stay at this great property. Located on a quiet street with little traffic, we were close to the Village and East Beach. Everything is easily walkable. The kitchen was recently updated and very nicely done. The sunroom and back deck area was excellent. Highly recommend!!

This was our second time staying at Bonnie’s property. We love it!!! Comfy beds and spaces, we love love love the sunroom for drinking coffee and reading. Fence for the pups and outdoor shower. Sea la Vie is one of nicest places we’ve rented in the 15 years we’ve been coming to SSI 1,2 & 3 times a year. Our needs have changed over the years. Sea la Vie met those needs with a beautifully updated well equipped kitchen and floor plan, 3bedrooms, everything you need for the beach, beautiful glassed in porch for chilling and hanging out after hours. My favorite place! My dog loved watching for squirrels in the fenced in yard when we weren't taking early morning walks in the park. Owners provided dog covers for all the furniture so mine stayed in the car. They’ve thought of everything to make it easy and hospitable. We hope to rent Sea la Vie again, in the park. Sea la Vie was convenient to wherever we wanted to go via golf cart or car.

Another great vacation at Sea Le Vie! We love the cottage, the location, and the island the owners are fabulous and very responsive. Our boys (golden doodles) love the backyard and have a great time. Great host and property in St Simons Island

We were very pleased with this property. The location was very convenient with an easy 10-minute walk to the beach or pier and shops. It was clean and updated with good appliances and spaces. All three bedrooms had king beds, which was great for our group. We had a problem with the lock on the house, but the owner was very responsive and helpful. I would stay there again!

Three generation family getaway

The cottage exceeded our expectations---the photos and description were great but the real cottage was even better!It was a cozy place for cooking, games and conversations while also an easy walk to the beach and downtown shops. We would definitely book it again!

Great beach rental in ideal location

This was a great rental! Home was nicely renovated in the living areas. Nice sunroom and backyard spaces. Beautiful kitchen that was very well stocked! All king beds and were very comfortable. Owner was very quick to respond and helpful with recommendations! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Our favorite place to stay!

We have been coming to St Simons for years and stayed in many nice places, but the Rich’s beach house is our favorite. It is always clean and ready for us. The newly remodeled kitchen area is a big plus. It’s beautiful! When we bring our dog, the fenced-in backyard is his favorite hangout. Beds are comfy. Once we park the car, we walk everywhere. -beach, restaurants, shopping, downtown. Great house and location!

Great wedding weekend!

We stayed at this cute cottage for my sons wedding. The property is in a great location close to the beach and village. We loved that it had a great outdoor space and fenced backyard with a small lawn. The property owners were very quick to respond when we had a minor problem operating the living room tv. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit!

Relaxing get away.

This is a beautiful property in a superb location several blocks from the beach, numerous restaurants, and shops. Very quiet neighborhood on a dead end street that is great for walks or biking.

Very happy and relaxing vacation

We really enjoyed out time in the cottage. The yellow walls were so cheery, and the house was very comfortable. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house. We appreciated that we could bring our small dog, and she loved sitting on the couches on the sheets provided. We were pleased to be able to walk to the beach and village. We spent time in the nearby park and were fascinated by the giant live oak trees with their spreading limbs draped with Spanish moss. We have already reserved a longer time next year and look forward to returning.

Wonderful St. Simons home! Parked the car when we arrived, and didn't use it again until we left. Perfect location to walk to beach and Village. The home was comfortably decorated and fully appointed with anything you would need for a beach vacation. We also loved how dog-friendly it was--made traveling a breeze. Will definitely stay here again!
