East Beach Cottage with EZ beach access, sleeps 10

Moon Cottage is about a 1-minute walk to the 12th Street Public Beach Access. This sweet beach cottage is laid out perfectly for a family friendly vacation. Relax and unwind on the porch swing and the main level or on the upper level deck, with comfortable seating and a gas grill.
Home Layout:
Enter the home on the facing left side of the home into a family room with a 65” Smart TV. Off the family room is a washer and dryer and nice size storage area. From here you can access an outdoor shower to wash off your sandy toes and store your beach essentials.
Down the hall on the main level is a King Bedroom and a bunk room (sleeps 4) with a hall shared bathroom (combo tub/shower).
Access to the upper level can be by either spiral stair case or outdoors via a wider staircase. Upstairs is a family room with a 65” smart TV, nicely equipped kitchen with a Keurig Duo (drip and single serve coffee maker), 2-barstools and dining table for 8-guests. Down the hall is a King Bedroom, a Queen Bedroom and a shared hall bathroom (combo tub/shower).

THE SPACE


Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.
