Whether your goal is to unplug and escape or to explore the truly local side of St Simons Island, The Happy Magnolia is set to let you discover a new form of southern hospitality and experience the heart and soul of our island. Centrally located right in The Pier Village of St Simons Island. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops with pickleball courts, tennis courts, playground and ballpark less than a block away. The neighborhood is the island's best area for bike riding and walking. We LOVE to scoot around on a golf cart and there are several great rental spots that will drop your golf cart off or your bike prior to arrival. Park (4 spots available), leave your keys in the house and enjoy true island living!

The house was adorable, easy to live in! Kitchen was well supplied with cookware and dishes. Clean and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms well done. Close to everything, we made trips to the village several times a day, it was an easy scooter ride or walk in just minutes. Host was very communicative and helpful.

The Happy Magnolia

This is the perfect little cottage for 2 couples and up to 3 kids (we had a 16 year old). I love that there were 2 King masters and kids had their own room. Everything about this cottage was top notch, from the cleanliness, to the decor inside, to the seating areas outside! There are so many thoughtful details throughout this home, especially each bedroom had a dressing table with a mirror. No detail was spared! Beds were comfortable and the bedding was beautiful! The location was perfect for walking to anything in Pier Village. Super convenient! The Happy Magnolia is at the top of my list when we visit St. Simons again.

St Simons Cottage

Excellent 3 BR 2 Bath cottage with well equipped kitchen, newly refurnished, and spotlessly clean. TV’s in all bedrooms and living room. On a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood just a short walk to Mallory Street and the central village. We would definitely stay there again while visiting St. Simons!

Glamping!

We headed down to the Magnolia Cottage the day after the hurricaine. We chose to go to the island during this time as our neice was getting married that weekend. We may have felt differently if we had a difficult host, but Kelly was amazing! She was in constant contact with us despite the power outages and spotty cell service. She communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable, perfect location, and outfitted with detail and high end comforts. We will not hesitate to rent the Magnolia Cottage again the next time we visit! Thank you, Kelly, for an amazing weekend!

The Happy Magnolia is even cuter in person than the photos show! Our family of 5 spent the week enjoying St. Simons. The location is fantastic-one block from the village and we walked to restaurants and shops each day and finished every evening with a stroll on the pier. There is a park with pickle ball courts two blocks from the cottage and we played every day. We cooked quite a bit and the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect in every way
