I enjoyed my stay at Bluebeards Castle. My room was nice and big with a great balcony that had an awesome view of the cruise ships docked in St Thomas. It was convenient to have a restaurant on site for breakfast lunch and dinner. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Cleaning the bathrooms in the rooms meds to be addressed. When we got into the room , we immediately noticed the hairs all over the bathroom (body hairs ) eew than we looked into the shower and more hair along with the floors were nasty . Rooms itself was in decent condition, no mold smells and the bed wasn’t bad but the front desk staff could definitely use some costumer service refreshing instead of the rude attitudes. The gentleman driving the golf cart were extremely helpful and nice and made the experience better dealing with them . The advertise restaurant and such but there really is only the pool bar open most of the time and breakfast is only served there and if your not at the bar you have to get it to go which we found a hassle not a relaxing vacation vibe . All and all “ decent “hotel but would not return .

We booked a balcony penthouse and the patio space was very nice. The only downside was a neighboring suite with guests that were chain smoking. The desk advised us they could send security. Fortunately it was our last day when they checked in and only ruined one morning.

Just back from a 3 night stay. The patio was my favorite part — beautiful view! Room was clean. There are no housekeeping services during the stay but a call to the office to refresh us with clean towels was quickly taken care of. It is a lot of steps— but everything in St Thomas is! Restaurant was good. Very large servings. Enjoyed the karaoke on Monday with Shi!!! The pool looked nice although we didn’t have time to enjoy it. Didn’t expect to have a washer and dryer in our unit but that was nice to wash our beach towels before we packed to leave. Kitchen was stocked adequately for the amount of meals we had there. I would love to stay again!!!

Staff were so sweet, room was beautiful, walking distance into town but very hilly and about 30$ for 2 people to taxi there. Food was literally so amazing we ate there for 3 meals a day and were never disappointed. Lots of cute kitties on the property!
Check out the Museum on site was super cool and had so many artifacts and an amazing view from the top !

Room was clean. However check in process was very inconvenient. Please make sure you call after your booking to make sure that you have a full stay. When we arrived we were told we had a “room change” reservation bc they are a timeshare location. We checked in at 3pm on Friday. We had to check out at 10am on Saturday only to be rechecked in to a new room AFTER 3pm on Saturday. We were traveling with a small child thankfully we made it work but it was very inconvenient. Also checkout is at 10am which is pretty early considering most of the flights did not leave out until after 4pm. Overall would not stay at this location again it was also very far out from downtown located literally on top of a hill so walking anywhere was out of the question. We had to taxi everywhere which was expensive. If you plan to go to this location make sure you do your research & plan accordingly

We were not able to check-in until 4:30pm well past there 4:00pm check-in time. There is no urgency to clean the rooms in a timely manner given the 10:00am check-out. The pool is only 3.5 ft deep throughout, the pool bartenders seem to have a very laidback service attitude as they celebrate with the guests.

Location was great, room was nice, pull out bed was comfortable, restaurant had had good food…. BUT the room smelled like cat piss. To the point where our eyes were watering. They definitely laid new flooring over it. We didn’t hang out there at all just a place to sleep, if you’re looking for a hotel to hang around and use the pool/ amenities definitely stay somewhere else. We never complain we didn’t say anything but we should have

Bluebeards Castle was apparently a former time share resort, that now is managed and run by a Board of owners. They sublet the housekeeping , so rooms are not cleaned or linens changed on a daily basis. We were there 7 nights and got one complimentary housekeeping on the 5th day. Lobby staff were curt and told us to buy our morning coffee at the onsite store, or wash our beach towels at the laundry. Restaurant menu was same -same every day, affordable. View of cruise ships and Charlotte Amalie from the bar and pool is incredible.
