Fully Rebuilt Two Bedroom Beachfront Villa: European Elegance in the Caribbean

Our villa is located in Building C of the Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina, directly on beautiful Sapphire Beach. The villa is a two story unit occupying the 3rd and 4th floors of the building. Each bedroom has its own large screen LCD television. There is a large deck on each level with a breathtaking waterfront view. Start every day with breakfast on your deck overlooking St. John and the British Virgin Islands through the palm trees on the beach.

The villa was completely rebuilt in August 2014 and it is currently one of only a few two bedroom villas at Sapphire Beach Resort. Everything is brand new: the kitchen, the appliances, the bathrooms, the furniture and the mattresses, the light fixtures, down to door hardware and light switches. The villa is finished in a classic elegant style with granite countertops, Italian tile, rubbed bronze lighting fixtures, paintings of Italian Lakes and Greek Islands. The first floor has a kitchen, dining and living areas with large screen LCD TV, and a full bathroom. The kitchen has a large refrigerator, a cooktop, and a microwave oven. Also, our villa is one of very few at Sapphire Beach Resort that have a dishwasher. You might not realize what a huge plus it is until you stay in a unit without it! The second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The villa sleeps 4 very comfortably. The first bedroom has a king size bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds.

Despite its name, Sapphire Beach Resort is not a full service resort. It is a quiet condo community on a beach, which is usually not crowded. The property has a two tiered cascading waterfront swimming pool, a white sandy beach with crystal clear water, and a good snorkeling beach. Beach lounges and towels are provided for our guests. You can take a fishing, snorkeling or sailing trip to St. John or BVIs from the Marina on the property.

The villa is conveniently located at the East End of the island, less than a mile from the village of Red Hook with shopping, restaurants, and a Ferry Terminal. Passenger and car ferry to St. John leaves every half an hour. No passport is required for US citizens to visit US Virgin Islands of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix. You will need one if you are planning to visit the British Virgin Islands.

Great place for a family. We appreciated having a second bedroom and our pack and play fit perfectly between the twin beds. The king bed in the master bedroom was so comfy and you can’t beat waking up to the ocean right in front of you. The kitchen has everything you need. Perfect Beachfront location

This was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens). Balconies w/beach views on each floor, Comfortable beds, very clean, close to the amazing pool, beautiful beach! The beach was amazing, rented snorkel gear/kayaks right there, snorkeling was actually really great right off the beach. Red Hook was minutes away for food/groceries. Car ferry was minutes away, we did a day trip to St. John and it was amazing!

Amazing vacation

This was a much needed family vacation. The location is absolutely breathtaking.Right on Sapphire Beach with its amazing blue waters, coral reefs and islands. The condo was exactly how it appeared in the photos. Both the kitchen and master bedroom have a patio to where you can walk out and see the amazing view. The condo was very clean and spacious. Communication with the host was amazing. She answered all my questions that I have asked. Very polite and professional. My family and I are talking again to make plans to revisit Sapphire Beach.

Amazing place

We stayed for two days at the end of our trip to St John! Perfect location with right out our door with beautiful water, snorkeled with turtles and eagle Rey!!! Second day was windy and had the pleasure of watching kite boarder (I love this)! Iguanas were in the trees by the beach so that was neat watching them interact with each other! If you don’t want to cook your own food restaurants on the beach and near by! Beautiful place!

St. Thomas Beachfront Villa

Our family of four had a great spring break visit to St. Thomas and Mila's villa at Saphhire Beach. The two bedrooms gave everyone their own space, and the common areas were large and clean. The location was also great at Sapphire Beach, which has a beach bar and some eating options nearby as well as a short taxi ride to Red Hook. We would definitely stay at Mila's again when we return to St. Thomas.

Amazing place!

We loved loved loved our stay at Sapphire Beach! The location was stunning, the apartment was exactly as expected and it was perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids aged 5 & 8). You open the curtains every morning with the most gorgeous view and are steps from a beach. The beach is large with lots of areas to play in the sand or snorkel. There are also a few restaurant options in the complex. The apartment itself is 2 floors: the first being the living room, kitchen and 1 bathroom and upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. There was plenty of space and the apartment was very well equipped, especially in the kitchen. We felt very safe as there were employees everywhere and a guard at the main gate. We had a little hiccup at check in but it was promptly resolved. Mila was a great host! Thank you again for the memories!

Beautiful Unit and Location

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful view and well equipped property. We did experience power outages several times while we were there. The pool bar was under construction and could not use that area. Beach bar was nice and can get food/coffee over there. Cruise ships bring tour groups to Sapphire beach when they are in town, beach can get crowded. Snorkeling is nice right out front, can sometimes see turtles too. Unit was very nice, a little smaller than it appears in the picture. Kitchen well stocked with all the basics. Beds were comfortable. Unit did not have any chairs while we were there, can get chairs out in front for our units. We had lots of mosquitoes while we were there. Having a car was nice. Taxis are plentiful but can get expensive as they charge per person. Do bring plenty of cash, many places will not accept credit cards.
